"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

(Diminish feelings for a girl you love)

I have spent quite some time learning the "DJ Bible" and playing in the field with women. I don't have big problems getting girls to go out with me. It seems that every girl I date, I end up dating long term. I will meet a beautiful girl, my type. We will date for months, mostly a minimum of 6 months. I always start to get feelings for the women and the relationship never gets serious. It's always a once a week thing for 6-12 months.
I have heard about "oneitus" and I think I tend to have this disease when dating a new girl after 3 months. I don't consider myself to be an "AFC" either. I think the general point I am making here is that I fall in love with every girl I date. I think about them often and I tend to get dissapointed if they do not return my calls sooner, or are not available when I want them. I get anxiety about the whole situation.
My goal is to become a guy who does not fall into love so easily. I talk to many of my friends and they all seem to want to have it both ways, for instance they want a girlfriend to romance, and they want a girl to hook up with and have fun with. I am not really like that. I would prefer to have a girlfriend that can make love with me and be there for me, and respect me. I think a lot of men want respect from women. Women are very self involved and do not seem to understand what respect means to men.
One of my problems to be totally honest is that I work long hours, and have a small circle of friends. I am focused on my career and seek romance to relieve the daily stresses of life in the big city.
Many of the women who I have had relationships with seem to be what they call on this post "AW's". I wouldn't go to the extreme by saying a *****, because females all seem to love attention.
My current girlfriend enjoys going to loud trendy night clubs on a weekly basis. I always imagine guys are hitting on her and she flirts with them all night. But she gets a thrill out of it because she lives a very boring 9-5 work week.
Is there a way to break out of this shell of this whole "love and romance" mind-set? Could it be that I am not meeting enough women?
I know many guys out there would love to be in an honest equally rewarding relationship, but it seems like a dream which never occurs in reality.
One of my fears is giving my love and trust to a woman because I think that she will break my heart. It has happened to me twice and the pain last a long time. I do not have a problem with commitement either.
When I was 18 I was in a serious relationship with a 20 year old woman, she wanted to marry me and was madly in love. I dumped her because she seemed to clingy. It was strangely a turn off that she would call me and e-mail me on a daily basis.
Now I find myself calling my girlfriend and pursuing her even after nearly a year of dating.
I know she senses I am just with her and the excitiment has died down.
My initial trick with holding on to women is simple, I don't call them much the first 3-4 months of dating. They wonder what I am doing. It excited them. But when I release my emotional feelings for them after about 5 months or so they seem to become more care-free and casual with the relationship. I do not get heavy saying I love you or calling them, but I have heard women can feel you, sense you, when she lays her head on my chest she feels my heart beat fast and says "I think you really like me". It's like clock work.
How can one person develop a lasting relationship if they do not reveal love for that person?
Do I have to continually play games for years with these women?
How in reality, can I turn my heart to stone, to prevent it from being broken by hopes of being with the girl I am in love with? How do we become "cold blooded" DJ's, and put ourselves first in the dating game without becoming vulnerable?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Wow, I just reread this post... you sound like a woman writing this...

Dude, do some manly ****... go out and enjoy yourself, and quit worrying about a woman to "relieve the stress of life in the big city." Did you know that working out is THE MOST effect way to relieve stress? Sounds like you need a new hobby.

What works for me is trying to rationalize to some degree..

the same thing people do to get over someone.
thinking in your mind:
"Is she really that great?"
"is she really that good to me?"

that kind of stuff, it helps me to detach.
got over a girl in 2 hours doing this and listening to my Bon Jovi Cd while driving...

Love

Basically I have a girlfriend who is to busy or makes excuses to see me. I don't understand why she does this. Why does she continue to want to see me?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Anytime you start getting attached just think of her sitting on the toilet with explosive diarrhea, a bloody tampon string hanging out and puking everywhere. Its gross but it works haha.

hey

dude that is funny.

I am just miserable. Over this chick of 9 months. It's hard man. Hopefully I will get over her. Today was pretty much it, she said she had a stomach ache and couldn't go out.

Want to get over drooling over a woman and thinking you're in love? Just picture her taking a sh1t. Nothing more unattractive than that.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
The problem isn't that you're falling IN love.

The problem is that as time goes on, you're falling OUT of love, into things like obsession, neediness, jealousy...

Lots of times, what starts OUT as love begins to deteriorate as things like your ego and your self-analysis creep into the way of your feelings.

These things can actually destroy your "love" and take over.

Not that that makes your pull toward the other person "weaker"...it's kind of like a star collapsing into a black hole. The black hole is darker and much smaller, but has much more mass. You think it's just your "love getting stronger", when in reality you're being sucked in by something that no longer shines like it used to, but instead just pulls all your energy and rips you apart.

So really, you DON'T want to learn how to "not love women". You want to learn how to be a BETTER lover.

The secret to that lies with making YOURSELF stronger...straightening out things like your ego and your self-analysis so they are no longer destructive to your feelings, but instead make them STRONGER.

Cliff's notes: Become a better, stronger person and you will become better at loving and feel less of a need to obsess.

A strong love also knows when to let go. Maybe she's just not the right one.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
