Wow I love this show, Houses character has an awesome personality, hes kindof an *******, he knows hes always right. Anyone else watch this show?

Yep. I just don't follow it because I never got to watch it from the start. One of this day I have to get all the seasons though, and watch it from the beggining. Even though random episodes are fun, it'd be better to follow it.

in real life a guy like that would be annoying to be around. also, in real life those types of peopel aren't scripted to be 'just enough' of an *sshole as to be entertaining.

they are generally total *ssholes.

I just noticed house has a british/english accent, I saw him on david letterman, hes not a real *******, he plays an american man, ive never heard his real voice though, pretty cool

It used to be much better, the writing has gotten to be horrible and they've taken his character too far. Now he is just a one-dimensional ass. It was much more interesting when you could see some humanity behind his rough exterior.. I remember one episode in particular in season 1 that was quite good, where he was lecturing to a class of med students. I believe it won an Emmy. Been downhill for the most part since then.

this is the kind of show you don't talk about. you keep it on the down-low... so the normal people don't ruin this show.

and you don't talk about the actors real life or it totally ruins the show.

monaco is 100% correct. it used to be better... but it's still awesome. when something becomes too big... it goes downhill.

but i do have season 1-3 on dvd... they're awesome.

IF i was a mod, i would SO lock this.

I love House. Just got all the seasons on DVD for my birthday.
I'm guessing since we have a new thread on it that maybe a new episode came out tonight? I gotta go find it and watch it.

Yeah it was an ok episode. called Freeze or something. you can go to Fox's website and watch all this seasons episodes on demand

Pssst.... it's easy to find a torrent. I watched one or two episodes of this season, got hooked, but then decided to watch it from the beginning of season one. (I finished just last night.) It's better than watching it on DVR, because the commercials are edited out and it's HDTV (for someone like myself who doesn't have HDTV).

Shame the next airing is on the 28th April. Can't wait really! I've noticed they started to develop Dr.Wilson well, before his was just House's puppy, now he has dimension.

Introduction of the new characters shows they have run out of ideas. They also focus less on House's pains, but they did conclude that.

Season 4, is a happier House.

Zen, thanks for letting me know about April. I've been wondering when a new episode was gonna be on. Its been way to long. I prob only have another week worth of episodes to entertain me

Season 4 is a bit different I'm still trying to decide if its going down hill or not

Not uncommon for Brit actors to play Americans. Sometimes you can tell because the pronunciation is exagerrated (often based on the perception that all americans drawl). Hugh Laurie was famous before House. He was the hilarious goofy nice guy Bertie Wooster in Jeeves and Wooster, a total 180 degrees from Gregory House. You might see it sometimes rerun on Masterpiece Theater.
