Yeah, I've had success. Even met a great chick in person and we're still dating.
I've gotten a several double matches and half matches (from real gorgeous women and average) but like you said, online dating is kind of dumb so I deleted all my double matches and am going to close my account. All I wanted to know is if I was relativley good looking because it's not fair to judge yourself, you're either too generous or too hard on yourself. Now I don't care about it, I don't need to be labeled a number, or I don't need validation. Back to the main point...
The big problem is keeping them interested. Some will just out of the blue stop replying to your messages, this is quite frequent. Most will not agree to meet in public.
For your personal profile. Look at what everyone else has. "I like to travel, party, workout, uh, I like music." It's all the same! So be original. Don't conform to the boring personal intro shyt like career, major in college, age, workout.
Great example of what not to do (Dead beat):

Unoriginal (Where he's from, what he enjoys doing, going out with friends, his age):

Someone more original (Read his intro):

Original (Original intro, even uses personal characteristics in keywords):

Also you can try to post a real picture of hot guys or hot girls as yourself, hehe, and see what results you get. If you post a hot pic of a girl, then you'll get messages from tons of guys. See what the majority of them say or do, take that into account, and be original from there. Seperate yourself from them, that's what this website is about.
If you post yourself as a hot guy, see if you get more half matches from girls lined up to "Meet You".
I wouldn't give it too much significance, that website. Hope that helped.
