"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Hot chick added me on Facebook. What's next?

I've been single and spinning plates for almost two years now and enjoying myself. However most of the girls I've either bagged off Tinder or through parties or whatever.

Hot chick adds me on Facebook. She likes several older pictures of mine so she's all but saying she's interested. I've always went with the "invite to something that doesn't sound like a date" approach that doesn't really show any interest to good effect when it comes to Facebook chicks, but I haven't really picked up a girl up from social media going on 2 years now. If any of you guys have any particular methods for online pickup I'd love to hear them. I'm probably overthinking it, but my online game's a bit rusty (I deleted Tinder 6 months ago as well) and I don't want to be too aloof/disinterested which is how I seem to be coming off nowadays.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

My advice would be to not do on-line dating and don't mix social media with dating, it's friends and family, not women.

It's not a good way to build attraction, it's just a media for women looking for attention.

She didnt add you. You added her. It means nothing and all you are doing is feeding her need for attention.

She went through your page and has already determined what kind of person you are (in her mind at least). So now going forward whatever you tell her she'll compare to what she has already seen about you on your Facebook posts. And if something doesn't add up she'll go back to Facebook to check.

When they send me a friend request I ignore it. If they ask me why I didn't add them I say I use Facebook for family and business. I can see them mouth the word "azzhole" and I like it.

Nope. She added me. I barely use Facebook anymore. Just surf to see what friends are doing. There isn't much to compare to besides a few pictures.

I agree with you guys about the "girls just looking for attention" thing but I've picked up girls on social media before. It's really not as taboo as you guys are making it out to be and it is doable, just gotta stop the moment you see a red flag.

your goal is to try and continue the converation OUT of facebook.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I've picked up several great lays from fb from chicks that added me and some I've added.

If they added me, I'll send them a message right after I accept their friend request and ask "do I know you?". Let them initiate after their response. Just enough action from me to fuel the fire.

My current fwb added me on fb. I asked the "do I know you" and she said "no, I added you because you're hot". We were fvcking within 2 days. Got a great bj from her this afternoon. We fvck, she leaves. Never been at my place longer than 10 minutes afterwards.

If you add them, wait a few days, find something interesting in their profile or pics (preferably a hobby you both obviously like) and shoot her over a quick message. "Hey I noticed that you like ____.....interesting. How long have you been doing it?". Her response will show you if she's interested. Always turn that first message into a question. Always give her the "gotta run....stay on touch!" and bounce once you have a fairly decent convo building. Then wait a few days to see if she hits you back. If she doesn't you can always strike the convo back up a week or so later.

I disagree with the posters who say don't look at fb for lays. It's a free, avaliable pool of women to check out. Most will feel comfortable responding to you since most will have mutual friends. Tear it up.

Those that say otherwise aren't doing it right or aren't getting laid from it.

I'm 38. I rarely date chicks over 30, most are 25-30. Current fwb is 28, solid hb8.

Women are women. They all like to fvck. Age difference would only be a change in dialogue in the messages, nothing more.

And I promise that unless the chick that adds YOU is actually someone you know on a personal level, she is interested. Never had one add me that I didn't hook up with unless I wasn't interested....which happens often.

Mine is on lock down unless we have a common friend otherwise they can't find me.

You had to accept her friend request.

How do you know her? You are over thinking it, ask her out already and gauge interest. Otherwise she's just an attention seeker.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
