Definitely an eye opener compared what we all see today.

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
"Look! In the year 2010, people in beaches wore CLOTHES!"EA Gold said:lol, you do know that your making fun of your great grandparents and their culture. The conservative clothing they wore reflected the attitude of the people of that day, respecting others, family and themselves.
Wheres the respect with kids these days, I wonder how would you feel if your great grand kids were making fun of you and your culture 100 years from now.
My great-grandparents were subject to signs in government and other public buildings that read "No Dogs or Indians Allowed". While their parents were shot down like animals with hotchkiss guns at Wounded Knee.EA Gold said:lol, you do know that your making fun of your great grandparents and their culture. Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

I don't share your americana. I wish I could entertain the concept of the "good old days", aka "the days when we had the darkies in their place" (pressed firmly beneath boot heels).
I don't share "americana" and truly wish that people would open their eyes to the fact there were no "Good old days."Serialized3 said:My great-grandparents were subject to signs in government and other public buildings that read "No Dogs or Indians Allowed". No, those were the party sluts of the day. If you notice, some of them were flashing ankle! That was like cleavage back then.San Jose California said:when girls who hung out at the beach weren't party sluts
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
