"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hollywood should make a mainstream movie

About a Loner who is laughed at, humilated, picked on, beat up throughout his entire life.

This Loner has no HB's, no friends, no one who cares about him at all. He then becomes a super "villain".

That would be a cool movie.

I don't think any of the super villains in Batman or Spiderman were ever loners.

How come none of the super villains are loners? They are usually popular people.

I would like to see a movie where a Loner becomes a super villian.

Can anyone think of a villain in a mainstream movie who becomes that way because they are a loner?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Taxi driver with Robert Deniro.

Anyway would be great if hollywood does a movie about George Sodini, possibly with Burrough as director and Goundra/Twentee as a weapon advisor (and document support, like "quality fake passports".

I'm pretty sure that was the backstory for The Penguin, no?

And pretty much every other villan, ficticious and otherwise. Before Munich and the brownshirts, even Hitler and his art were mocked and ejected from the garden party, no?

It's been done. Done trolling, yet?

I never knew Penguin was a loner:

Born Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, the Penguin was bullied as a child for his short stature, weight and beak-like nose. In some media, his fingers are fused, resulting in flipper-like hands. Several stories relate that he was forced as a child to always carry an umbrella by his over-protective mother due to his father's death from pneumonia after a drenching. His mother owns pet birds that Cobblepot lavishes with attention, his only friends. In some versions, Cobblepot turns to crime after his mother dies and the birds are repossessed to pay his mother's debts; in others, he is an outcast in his high society family and their rejection drives him to become a criminal. In keeping with his origins, the Penguin pursues his criminal career with class. He prefers formal wear such as a top hat, monocle, and tuxedo while he steals.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

He keeps starting threads based on how he is alone and has no friends. One would be reaching out, but he never responds substantially to any substantial advice with anything other than negativity. If he really wanted to address his situation he would seem a bit more genuine. And stop making new threads over and ovef about the same thing. Look at his username. I haven't, but if you look at his post history I bet you will find the same thing over and over.

I guess if he winds up on the news, this was a gross miscalculation, but all outward internet message board appearances are that this dude is trolling.

Seriously, TheLoner, if you are serious with all of this and aren't trolling, get some help, man. I dont think we can help you, here. You said in another thread you are in Chicago...There are qualified professionals there that can help you and you need to contact one. People have given you good advice and you seem locked in a cycle of defeatist negativity. Not really what this forum is for. I'm but a humble layperson but your posts sound like you are either fvcking with us or you are seriously depressed...and it sounds like it is affecting your interactions with others. Get some professional help, bro. You have nothing to lose but some time and a bright future to gain.

if you could READ, you'd know that I am not posting the fake id ads.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Y'know... I was in your exact same position all the way until age 26. Then I became fit, dressed very sharp, clean cut and pimpin' drove an exotic car, was considered by women to be extremely attractive (especially in the face), was social like no other, made friends everywhere, etc. Then I became heart-broken several times, got screwed over by fake friends, dated shallow skanks and players, got caught up in the shallow / troubled lifestyle, and became severely depressed for a few years - to the point of moving away from it all, getting my life in order, feeling content with myself, having standards with people, re-evaluating everything in my life; what I've been through, mistakes made, opportunities lost, changes required, etc.

My self esteem was so low that, even after all those initial changes, I still viewed myself as (and acted of) the same fat / geeky / weak / friendless kid with no female interest. I was still bullied, used, played, humiliated, and walked over as a result - even AFTER becoming social, attractive, out-going, etc. Changing how I looked and presented myself didn't change who I was, how I felt, or viewed myself as. And people treated me accordingly: like an approval-seeking, co-dependant, insecure loser with no self-esteem.

The point is:

1. Stop whining and do something about it.
2. Change your mindset and attitude; not just personality and appearance. Be strong; not a low self-esteem whiner looking for pity (you'll only get bullied and looked down upon more)
3. Having a social life, dating hot women, and being Mr. Popular and Sexy isn't all it's cracked up to be - there's a LOT of fake, selfish, two-faced, egotistical, backstabbing, shallow people out there... especially if you make a lot of noise, and get tangled up in these scenes.
4. But, in order to realize #4, you must do #1

You're not learning, realizing, or experiencing anything, or adapting to situations, and all these things - because all you do is complain about being lonely. Do something about it. Or stay stuck in your misery forever. Those are your only 2 options.

Get out there and live. All the trials, mistakes, failures, rejections, and heart-breaks are waiting for you. As are the successes that come after. They say life is a lesson, so learn.
