The police, snopes, the new York Times, and others all say it's been debunked. It sounds like even more bunk than 9/11 inside job theories. The code words weren't prevalent prior to pizza gate in the first place. Even far right articles don't cling to the validity of pizza gate. It's just a conspiracy theory.

While the original claim needs to provide evidence, in this case that pizzagate exists, I'll give you that the emails are odd. If those phrases existed prior to pizzagate then it should be investigated. That is where I have faith in the justice department. If the police claim there's nothing to it, then I'm inclined to agree with them. I assume they investigated and utilized the emails and found no evidence of a human trafficking ring.

I want to answer your question but you should really ask yourself these things first.

Even if this all checks out as "pedo code" (count me as ignorant on this, I had never heard it), all it amounts to is emails, I think there's the problem. I could send you an email saying that I robbed a bank, that's not proof of anything. These emails could support a stronger case if, say, a trafficking victim were rescued, or the place were raided, or there were photographs, or firsthand testimony from anyone. Of course I cannot prove that it isn't true, but that's not where the burden should lie.

Nevertheless, it could be true. This stuff happened in Hollywood among other places, so it could happen in Washington.

This is not one offending email. There are many emails, also on the wiped clinton server, also on weiner's laptop (he himself a pedophile).

Yes there would need to be more for conviction, but there is definitely enough smoke here for a major fire, wouldn't you say?

We know Weiner went after some underagers. I don't consider him lusting after a developed girl, i.e. not a kid, "pedophilia." It's illegal and wrong on other levels, but the pedo word gets tossed around by feminists.

That's why people call it a "conspiracy theory." It's a devil-word, meant to denigrate. But there has to have been a conspiracy. Similar to 9/11 truth theories or the JFK assassination. Of course, we know evidence could have been destroyed that supports those theories. Without it, what do we have? Sure, we can take a holistic approach, in which case, it's fishy. There could be a fire. We just can't tell. In the absence of clear evidence I usually go with Occam's Razor.

I myself always found it odd the trail of untimely deaths that follows the Clintons. But that's another story.
