I believe this can happen though I personally haven't ever experienced it myself. Not a single time!! It might be because of the way I look. I don't look threatening and I'm not a beef-cake. I look kind of like Joseph Gordon-Levitt but with a short beard. If I looked like Jason Statham or Vinnie Jones, for example, I could imagine a higher percentage of women being afraid. Or if I was ugly lol.
A lot of young women (gen z) are very VERY much not calibrated socially. And Covid certainly did not help.

Last girl (23, hb8) I had a thing with suddenly freaked out and thought I was going to murder her because I joked I was going to toss her in the river... we we're going to a river walk. We worked together in education, knew each other for months, and were talking and hanging alone several times. She said she "didn't know me well" and said I was 'pushy' ...if anything I was the opposite with this one since she was so shy. She ghosted me and later on and told me I intimidated her and she couldn't look me up on socials. I have had girls give me their numbers only to later tell me they think its a red flag I don't have socials and they can't keep tabs on me. That seems odd to say the least, but make sense since most women live online nowadays. That said, girls that clearly just want to bang don't give a **** and are more audacious anyways and i've not faced any opposition there.

Wednesday before Thanksgiving I go out to the bars, mostly 21-25 age group. Most the girls stay in their cliques and most the guys (boys) stay on the sidelines like a highschool dance and do nothing. I'm very good looking and had a girl recently tell me I look like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise's love child (I'll take it). I note this because as I approached I was met only with smiles from the 10 or so chicks I chatted to and am newer to game and a late bloomer. I came into a packed bar with my friends (all above average successful young guys) and was immediately bombarded by some girls that were friends with my sister, they hugged me relentlessly and I stole their drinks out of their hands like an ******* and they loved it. Meanwhile my buds hung around and did nothing and later asked me why those girls were so into me, 'looks' and confidence I said. These were girls that wouldn't have given me the time of day back in HS as well. We go to some more bars and the same thing. Girls in cliques, guys on the sidelines, most on their phones. I approach groups of women and they are receptive, but when they ask me for socials and I say I don't have any they outright said "you might be a serial killer! lol" or "That's weird why not"? Now this isn't every girl, but I have seen and experienced it and I consider that someone severely lacking in social norms. Could it be a deflection or sign of disinterest? Sure, but not always. I've dated girls who later told me lacking a social presence made me 'odd' and it bugged them until they actually got to spend time with me, in real life, no online or on some app.

Same night different bar, I see a cute chick getting hit on by a bunch of guys she came in with, probably mid 20s. She looks bored keeps looking at me and eventually I come over and start chatting her up and she lights up like a firework. She said I "saved" her from those annoying guys and they were 'creepy'. Yet, I was more or less doing the same as they were albeit more confidently, the only real difference was I was better looking so I wasn't 'creepy'. The overall vibe of the bar hops were consistent amongst the younger men and women. Cliquey, on their phones, lacking in social skills. We end the night at a retro 70s bar, I was probably the youngest guy there. I had blast talking with tons of women who were all older and much more receptive to conversation. They could carry a conversation as well, same things for the dudes. I still walked away with several numbers that night and had a good time, but later went home and journalled the whole thing out.

My takeaway was a lot of young women (and men) are not socially calibrated. If you are really attractive they will likely be receptive to you, if you're not hot you're a creep and weirdo for approaching. The folks who grew up without excessive online media seemed to not have this problem as much. This is obviously anecdotal and biassed, but I wanted throw my 2cents into the conversation.

Yeah the social media thing is interesting. I went without social media for a while but then when I started approaching a lot of women I decided to go ahead and curate a FB profile. It wasn't fake - all the pics were real, of me out doing things with my friends, traveling the world, living an awesome life. It was just the right amount - not too indulgent. I would say that it helped, but at the same time, I never had a girl freak out or not agree to go on a date because I didn't have a social media account. I DID get asked a lot - they even admit to me that they want to stalk me on social media and they wanted ME to stalk THEM on social media as well but I wasn't into that and it wasn't a deal-breaker.

I have to go with the sheer mental victory of watching my college team in person create the biggest upset in the history of the sweet 16 the day I filed for divorce in a nasty marriage, followed by smashing out some girl two weeks later like 9x in 2 days that I met on OLD within 45 minutes of conversation. Not a trophy other than that but it just hit like dominoes in the right way at the right time. Wish you all a great year ahead

Three of the most attractive women with the largest age gaps I've ever banged were this from this year, actually. The highlights were high, but on average the year was pretty bleh. Odd, really.

Social media and smartphones have had a terrible effect on people's social skills. I Absolutely notice this and agree. Also, sometimes they are afraid to give you a number for safety, yet they'll give you a fb profile, which has a thousand pictures of them, their employer, college, location, and all the info a potential stalker could possibly need. Also, Does anyone else notice little kids not playing in the neighborhood the way they used to? They are all inside addicted to phones and social media

Many young adults can't even have a conversation with a stranger like they are 12 or something. And you noticed this in a bar, which is where the MORE social types tend to go, not the reserved book nerds and ALCHOHOL loosens people up so it should be a prime environment. The men are afraid to approach because women lash out and call them creepy. And all this obsession with thinking a guy might be a serial killer or a sex trafficker is absurd. Too many lifetime moves.

And I believe Sex trafficking in the U.S. is rare thankfully. It's mostly complete media hysteria nonsense and is mostly just a way for the feds to charge someone who is running an escort service with trafficking and increase their sentence. Trafficking is SA and kidnapping. We already have laws against that before trafficking laws were introduced and if someone does that then they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The justice department just wanted another tool for going after guys/women who run pro's so they created trafficking laws. And we've seen what happened with Andrew Tate. I think he was running cam girls, right?

Even a female madam runnning an escort service is at risk of a "trafficking" charge. One of her ladies gets arrested and maybe has drugs on her and doesn't want to do the time or have her family find out what she does then she can flip and make false allegations about being "forced" into it. Then she becomes a victim to her family/friends ect instead of having her name reported in the paper as a prostitute. Then a prosecutor and the cops who wants a notch on their belt for "taking down a sex trafficking ring" gets their glory. See where this could go wrong?

I'm not saying trafficking never happens, but it's been totally blown out of proportion. Also, I've yet for someone to convince me there is any difference between prostitution and pornography. You can hire a pro and just put a camera in the room and make a porno movie and then it's not illegal, right? LOL Women over 18 who willfully engage as prostitutes are neither victims nor perps. They are hurting no one and they are old enough to make a decision about consensual sex. The government shouldn't be involved in consensual sex with adults. It should be legalized and regulated so we don't have any concern of this trafficking stuff. Oh sex workers/people on the margins are the number one victims of serial killers. Not suzy going on a date.

IG specifically is offering options for people to create professional accounts which then use the phrase “Just for fun” on the bio, enabling them to track their content and viewers. I don’t personally take issue with the young women doing it, I actually embrace the guys of that age doing it. The less effectively the men in the room can converse, the better off I am.

90% of the women i talk to online then move to text will also send you pics for their iPhones that gps locations enabled in metadata, if you know how to look at it you can tell where it was taken, original date taken, date edited, etc etc.

Technology in careless hands…

So I got a call from the teen today saying she got into a fight with her parents and if her and her friend could stay at my place for a few days. Said they are planning to get their own place. Long story short she shows up today high on xanax, drops off her bags and left to get hair extensions lol. I was really looking forward to having a 18yr old 9/10 stay but seeing her high like that really turned me off. Also she just met the friend a week ago smh. I could deal one party girl but the two of them? Damn. Hope chit doesn't hit the fan.
