Hey, Ive been working out hard lately. I just wanted to let ya know what i do on my a couple of my off days instead of just siting in front of the tv.

I go to the gym and work on all my little minor muscles, like my forearms. I like just goin to the gym and doing minidumbell curls and stuff for maybe 15 minutes...Then maybe do some fingertip pusups...then carry bars around and stuff. It lets you work out those lil muscles without making you overtrained.

an "OFF" day implies doing NOTHING. like sitting in front of the TV with a protein shake or a bunch of chicken breasts and brown rice and letting your muscles GROW and RECUPERATE.

It's admirable you're so jakked to lift, that you can't stay out of the gym even on your so called "OFF" days.. but OFF days are for REST.

That bullshyt you do keeps your body from recovering.

Work your forearms on arm or back day.

No it doesn't.

If it's an "OFF" day, it's an "OFF" day... i.e. no lifting or cardio.. just rest.

what is so difficult to understand about the concept of resting the body. ?

DIESEL is right. No matter what muscles you put the most emphasis on, you're still using the other muscles in your body at more force (gravity) than usual.

An OFF day is an OFF day. You turn your body OFF. Well, not all of it...

When you're on off-day, you ****ing rest! Sleep and nap! Eat more and more! Sleep and rest! And more sleeping!

It's easy!

You wake up.
Eat breakfast.
Relax, watch TV.
Eat lunch.
Nap.
Eat dinner.
Eat more.
Eat.
Sleep.
You wake up.

Repeat until your goddamn workout day!
