"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

ok this girl that i have a thing with.. her brother found out and im pretty sure he wants to kill me, which i have no problem fighting him but w/e. the thing is, im not friends with her brother/her brothers friends anymore (not because of this) so they are always telling her bad **** about or to stay away from me...apparently she doesnt care but with her brother knowing this jus makes it harder for us to chill because 1. cant fvck her at her house now 2. her brother friends are always saying bad things about me when they see her which will jus put bad things into her head.

do i just end it or see how it plays out?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

NO and NO! confusing? read on.

you shouldnt end a relationship with someone because of other people's attitudes and beliefs. believe me, a year ago i was in the same situation as you, i ended the relationship, and i turned into the biggest AFC loser in the world. (long story, no one cares) but now, i can honestly say, im smarter, stronger, and better, and things like this dont hurt me anymore, they just give me experience.

second note, you shouldnt see how it plays out. YOU should take action. the best thing to do is to be friends with her brother. yes you read correctly, be friends. the more he can trust you, its for the better. you should respect him, not fear him, and he should respect you to.

so become the alpha and make him look up to you

- and if you don't already know the answer to this question you asked, then obviously you should know that you don't care about the girl enough.

im sure he cares. he just wants reassurance. why would he be asking for our advice, help, and opinions.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

So let me guess this straight:

You used to be friends with this chicks brother and his friends.

You were so desperate for a chick you ended up seeing his sister?

Can you see the real problem here?

The Muscly Jerk
A. Who said he was desperate?
B. There isn't really a problem. So the brother is mad because you're banging his sister. Big deal. Apparently something happened in the past, and they don't like you. They're going to talk sh*t, nothing you can do about it. Most chicks don't give a rats ass if people don't like their boyfriend, as long as THEY do.

No you don't.

What makes the sister of an ex friend any different than any other girl? If shes hot go for it. Doesn't matter who shes related to.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Remember, its a brother. Every brother's worst nightmare is someone dating their sister, I know. I have done some stupid things in the past too. If you really like this gurl show her brother that it does not matter who and what someone says and that you really want to be with her.
