Hemorroids from squats

Do any of you get hemorrhoids from doing squats? Squats are my favorite exercise, but if it's going to give me hemorrhoids for the rest of my life when I do squats, I don't know if it's worth it. I confirmed that it was the squats causing it because I went off doing squats for a month and they disappeared and when I started doing squats again they appeared.

Any way around this? I tried changing my form but it hasn't helped

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I went through a similar episode a while back. I found the cause to be a sh1tty diet that lead to unpleasant bowel movements (too much alcohol and fast food). Squats only made the issue worse. Remember to eat plenty of fiber and avoid foods that irritate your bowels or stop you up. Oatmeal and green veggies are great for keeping regular - and they're healthy to boot! In the mean time, you could try applying witch hazel to the area a couple times a day; there are products for the pain, as well. Just google it.

Yup, mostly went away now. I was crapping significant amounts of blood everyday, it was scary, thought my colon was ruptured. Got an uncomfortable inspection and nothing. Hemmoroids or an inflamation.

Diet helps. It takes time since it's not the most... sensitive area of the body so healing is slow.

They are caused by increased intra-abdominal pressure, low-fiber diet, and bad luck.

Most every adult gets them at some point or another. The best way to prevent them is to eat AMPLE fiber--fruits, veggies, metamucil, bran, etc---and dont strain on the toilet. Avoid squatting until they subside. Take a 325mg aspirin a day until they subside. This will help break up/prevent the thrombus that forms in painful external hemmorhoids. Warm baths will help symptomatically. Keep it clean. Over the counter products only help symptoms, not the actual problem.

If ALL that fails, see a general or colorectal surgeon.

I'm going to try to make huge improvements to my diet, hopefully that will do the trick because I've been on a high protein diet forever. I probably need a lot more fiber. I know it is always preferable to get it from real food, but do any of you recommend using the fiber supplements that you add to shakes and stuff too?

This is pretty important because I play a lot of sports and squats is one of the main reasons that I can keep my legs strong, injury-free, and in tip-top shape. I'll be crushed if I have to discontinue squats if this problem doesn't go away :(

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Not having too much success. I've definitely been adding more fiber and that did help some. But when they go away for some time they always come back at some point. It's always coming and going, I don't really ever see a long length of time where I have hemorrhoids or hemorrhoid-free.

They don't hurt... it just bleeds when I'm taking a dump occasionally (sometimes a lot). I still hate it though. I sit down a lot at work so that could be contributing to it but I can't really change that.

I'm thinking of discontinuing squats for a long period of time or permanently. Although I have no idea what exercise to do to maintain my leg strength, since similar alternative exercises will probably cause the same problems because they all use the same motion..

I think you should see a general surgeon at this point. Tell them you have tried all the above conservative measures. You just need to get them ligated or excised and be done with it. It's humiliating, I know, but it is a very common problem.

PM me if you have questions.
