You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
beat him up, punch him, etc etc. until he has to bulk up to defend himselfOriginally posted by Double

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

^ These 2 guyz are dumbsh1ts.
Get a girl friend of yours to fake havin a crush on him and have her tell him to work out if he wants to date her LOL That might get him in the gym for a bit eh?
Also, maybe just go to the gym with him? He won't do it by himself but if big bro is there pumpin weights with him he might think differently. Unless of course your mum as pussified him to the point of no return, LOL
Exactly, and then start competitions based on stuff like who can improve the most, he'll win usually since both percentage wise and just counting the weight he added to his lifts will be higher at first. Now thats motivation.Originally posted by Damian
One thing that you can do is to treat your brother a little better. If you don't treat him with respect, he loses self esteem and he won't want to improve himself. Be a good brother and invite him to come work out with you. Give him positive feedback and make it a fun experience for him. Be nice to him and make it a routine to go working out with your brother. If you can make it an enjoyable experience, he'll start to feel motivated to do it.

But dude, its all about power-to-weight ratio.Originally posted by Shiftkey
At least your brother knows he's skinny. My brother is 6'1" 140 lbs and he thinks he's buff because he keeps his BF% at 8%Meanwhile his bench is stuck at 135 lbs and he wonders why lol
