"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I think people have given you fair advice on that matter. What makes or breaks the date is YOU, whether you can get her to want you, make her laugh, getting her to think romantically or sexually about you, not how much you are spending on her on a date. Besides, if the date were to c&b, you know you didn't spend too much money on her.

Let HER prove she is worth it to you to spend money on. If the date goes really well, there is chemistry, then you can always spend more money on a future date later on when you are getting what you want.

Another thing is to pretend you are a busy man. Try to spend as least amount of time (ie. try going for a half hour - hour) to lessen the chance of saying something offensive, and when things are really going great, cut the date and say you have an errand to do, but will see her again soon.

I only go on movie dates with women I'm not attracted to romantically or sexually - I call them 'movie buddies'. I have at least one if not two of them and they are both UG's. I'd never take a HB or someone I'm attracted to on such a date, because I find, that a long movie drains mental energies and you want her to focus on you not the movie. Your charisma, your charm, your personality, (which is really your skills you are learning here).
A movie doesn't say much about your personality other than your tastes.

The movie and dinner dates are the most clicheed date concepts and doesn't make you look original, and I dont think are impressive to someone you really want to charm. Furthermore, you may set a precedent to her in her mind that you are a 'movie buddy' - and she may just think of you as such, because I know I do for some women in my life.

However, on another note, you could engage in cuddling in a theatre while watching a movie - but again it's risky, you are risking a bit of money that you are going to set a 'cuddling' while viewing a movie. You put your arm around your date while viewing a movie, play with her hair, massage her back - practise kino-touch, try tease touching, etc.... So, if you do go on a movie-date, make it worthwhile by trying that out.

yea, i personally think movies are good for first dates..

for one thing, it eliminates you fvcking it up for 2 hours, and after the movie, if all else fails, you can talk about the movie!!!

ultimately, its on you man.. don't go and spend $100 on a first date..a movie and some starbucks is fine, and thats about $25 at most..

When someone mentions "the coffee date", I always think of an hour or half hour date, during the day, like at 4pm or something. Its not a DATE, its a MEETING. The only point of the coffee date is to have a small convo to see if you are interested in each other. You make a few jokes, show her your personality, and she makes that decision in her head to either keep seeing you or not. Then you go about your day, and call her up for a real date in a few days.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
