"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'll keep it short.

There's a girl, we're both hot for each other. We've been talking to each other, hitting on each other, making moves on each other for a week now. But now she wants to call things off, because she wants to avoid drama with her friend who apparently still likes me (messed around with her a month ago, haven't kept in touch), but doesn't know the two of us are messing around.

So now I have one shot tomorrow to convince this girl not to cut things off.

She told me her head is in one place and her feelings are in another. My plan is to focus on her feelings and hope they win over her logic (shouldn't be hard). I really don't want to blow this though, so if anybody can give constructive input, I would greatly appreciate it.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I dunno if my FR will help but i was in exactly the same kind of situation. Except it was her boyfriend she felt bad with rather than a friend.

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=106404

Have a look.

Dont play on her emotions as they are going to be split and its a waste of time....YOU NEED TO ACT FAST.

She is either scared about her mate finding out or losing intrest.

Make a move next time you see her....Isolate her and MAKE A MOVE.

Whats the worst that could happen???

Whats the best?

Compare them and then tell me its not worth it....

Apply lots of Kino....Play to her physical lust rather than emotions....Women need sex just like blokes.....Play that way and you can get in and "seal the deal".

Any questions?

I would do something along the lines of saying to her, "Always do what YOU want in life, never settle for less" and I would lean in to kiss her. Seal the deal,if she wants it she will go for it.

Chicks are not logical, so trying to convince her by using logic is a waste of time. Chicks understand feelings. Talk about how great it feels when you are together and get her to agree with you.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Don't waste your time trying to mess with her feelings (whatever that means).

Put her in a sexual state and make a move. Then see what happens.

That's basically what I was trying to say, but couldn't come up with the right words.

My question for the original poster... if you have to convince someone to date you, is it really worth the effort?

I would do this, there are some great suggestions up there that will fit into this.

I would say "we both know the situation, you don't want to hurt your friend, I understand..but you can't deny your feelings for me." Then lightly whisper in her ear "..can you keep a secret?"

The make your move.

Just a random thought, do you think it's possible she's not comfortable enough with you right now, if her friend doesn't know, why would she suddenly call it off? Maybe she's just a good friend, but, just saying.

Good luck.

Whew, well it's done and over with. Thanks for the input. If you guys are wondering about the outcome, she's coming over tonight

Eye contact and kino were my most used tools.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
