"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

this is a q for you guys.

so last week, i was taking this swing dancing class and there's this really cute girl i've been flirting a lot with. anyhow at the end of class, i asked her what she was doing on the weekend. she said she had plans. however, i felt like i could push it. so i told her we should get coffee tommorrow. she looked uncertain. so i continued to flirt with her for about 8 more mins. then i said again... lets get coffee tommorrow at 3:00? she laughs and says "fine, lets do it"

then about 15 mins later, i'm heading to class when i realize that 3:30 I have a ****in mandatory lecture. so i call her back immediately telling her i had a class i forgot and could we switch times. she never called back.

today, in swing class she didn't show up.

so i'm thinking one of two possiblities. 1) she doesn't dig me. or 2) she's angry cuz she thinks i played her.

so should i call her back sometime this week. or should i wait till next swing class. the other thing is next swing class is the last class i'm registered for, and i know she will continue to go for a few more weeks. the big problem is i can't go to swing after next week either.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
