HB showed 100% interest then 0% in same night

Met a girl recently and knew she was attracted to me. Got texting in the evening and got her and her friend to meet me and my friend for a drink as we all happened to be in town.

Ended up going to a club, she was all over me with huge interest. I kiss closed, and the interest was still rocket high. She suddenly flipped and started to show no interest whatsoever and was dancing/talking to other guys in front of me.

My reaction was to act not bothered, and indifferent, also to go talk to other girls. She never really came back round that night but said hello when we crossed paths. She then start texting me at the end of the night when everyone had got home...

Two questions:

1. Did I act in the right way facing this situation, or should I have done something different?

2. Is she just a slag?

If you're in a club, get over the "I need to be here for a certain amount of time" mentality. If it's on and it's 12:30. Leave. If it's on and it's 1:50. Leave. Hell if you just walked through the door and you went out to find a chick and she turns you on. Leave. The longer you wait once you're with a girl, the more chance her attraction levels will end up fluctuating.

Also, if you're making out with a chick earlier on in the night and leave her, I'd bet you that she'll make out with a second guy that night because she's already half aroused and looking for something. That something is you but you walked off, get your butt back over there, isolate her, tease her, get that sexual tension and once you hit that high point(takes a while to work out where that is) walk her out of the club. Once she's already peaked, it'll be harder to get her to leave.
