"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

This isn't some AFC post. I don't seek validation from a female. But I'm just saying that when I'm single and alone, it's harder to concentrate on things like school/work. I find my mind wondering more often and I am more restless. When I have a girlfriend, I feel that things are more grounded.
Maybe I need a better social life, I don't know, but having someone around to provide that emotional support etc. stabilizes me.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Its a good thing you're a moron, or else I might have thought twice about it. Ever have a girlfriend ? You'll see how quickly you'll be more motivated to do different things. What those things are, who knows. But certain girls will motivate you to do things you've never done before. Thats just the nature of the beast. And its DEFINITELY not a bad thing. Anyone who things this is a bad thing is dead wrong.

My enjoyment in life dramatically increased after I had found the woman of my dreams.

Before I met her, my life was in a mess in many ways, I always studied and got ahead in my life, yet I never ate very well, nor did I save very much of my money, it all seemed to go on alcohol or gambling at the Casino or on the Dogs, as well as many other pointless things.

I always had spare cash on me just never any savings in the bank, I could always order pizza and other take away foods, I smoked a lot of ciggarettes which cost a fortune here in Australia because of our Governments huge Taxes, so I virtually lived from pay to pay, living well, but not having anything to show for my work in real terms.

Oneday I met a HB8 successful bussinesswoman who in my two years of being with has changed my life in many ways.

She feeds me plenty of healthy food which in itself has dramatically increased my levels of energy, I invest my money these days and I'm becomming very wealthy by my doing this.

I rarely drink alcohol now, only on a Friday night or when I am eating a nice meal, I never waste my money on gambling anymore, and I have quit smoking and saved money on many other things.

I am always working out at the gym these days, eating healthy food, and enjoying my life so much more than I did when I didn't have her in my life.

I know of many guys who were the same as me, they had good jobs, but nothing to show for their work and at 25 or 30 they met a special lady and within a couple of years they owned their own houses and properties in my home cities most affluent area.

When I do spend my money now I tend to spend it on travelling around the world with my woman, which gives me a lot more enjoyment than it did when I was spending all of it on alcohol, gambling, etc.

I think it is just a natural thing that your life improves when a special woman comes into your life.

If you were to build 2 cages, place one Rooster in each cage, then put 6 hens in with one of the Roosters and 6 male Ducks in the other Roosters cage, it is obvious that the Rooster in with the 6 hens would be much happier with its lot in life than the Rooster whose only companions were the 6 male Ducks, it is the same with Human males.

Why this happens is very much a mystery, but maybe, God, made it that way because it seems to be the case with most guys that they become so much happier when they have a special woman with them than they are when they are single.

Please stop this.

I agree that good woman is hard to find and is a great addition to your life, but this is getting too co-dependent on significant other thread.

Noone should keep you motivated in life but yourself and the activities that you do.

What is going to happen to you when and if this woman is gone from your life? What in the world will you do?

Then again this is my opinion and that is yours.

don't have the woman of my dreams in my life; but i strive to stay motivated because if i prosper both career and health wise, i'll have better chances of pulling the woman of my dreams

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Yea i have and no, i was still motivated to do the same things. Having a girlfriend shouldnt motivate someone to get their sh*t done, which is what i was trying to say. Cleary you missed that point. Im sorry having a girlfriend doesnt motivate me to get my work done, i can do that myself. I think youre trying to say a girl can get you to try new things...anybody can do that as well. So...the name calling was uneeded and unprovoked, grow up. He should figure out a way motivate himself....that was my point seeing as how thats what this site teaches.

Thats what i meant. Argue with him wiesman.

It depends completely on the girl. If you're dating a slutty, loser-ish bimbo, would you still be as motivated?

Now if you're dating a smart, talented, supportive girl, then your life can be improved.

Naturally you shouldnt NEED a woman to be motivated, but having a quality girl around will still help.

DAMN people. This is simple as sh1t. Everything just HAS to be so complicated around here doesnt it? Everyone treats this like a cult and we must all follow the ONE TRUE WAY.

Its fine for your girl to motivate you beyond your normal self-motivation.

I hit the weights three days a week and have no plans to stop. I dont need my gf rooting me on to keep going. But does it motivate me even more with her telling me how hot I look with my new bigger upper body? You betcha. And it motivates HER to go to the gym more often because she wants to keep up with me.

Now if you cant bother to feed yourself properly or handle your finances without outside motivation that is a problem and you should be smacking yourself while looking in the mirror every morning. That is if you even have the motivation to get out of bed before noon.

There's two types of chicks:

One is the kind that take all your energy and time. The type that needs reassurance and time spent with you and calls you at 4 in the morning crying and whining and basically takes and takes and takes from you. Those girls are TOXIC.

Then, there are the kinds of girls that WANT you but don't NEED you. The kind that come over to your house and bring you some cookies they baked. They're the kind that send you a text in the morning, just to say good morning and to wish you a good day. Those types are givers, which IMO are the way women should be. This is the type of woman that make life that much better.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Dont forget its a two-way concept. If you date a "giver", and you're not giving anything, she's going to ditch your ass for a better guy.

To date a quality girl, you've got to be a quality guy. Fat dudes sitting on their ass watching Jerry Springer are NOT going to land a quality chick.

(Not that I'm against Jerry Springer, its a fine show)

I'm just me man, I have so much to offer that i'd say im 70% giver 30% taker, but those ratios can shift a bit depending on the girl.

Strange, i find that i'm more motivated when i'm single. Perhaps it's because my motivation is the urge for sex, and when in a relationship, that kind of fades. It's SUPPOSED to be replaced by motivation to provide for the family, but i guess i haven't been in a relationship that was THAT serious yet.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
