"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

hm now that I think more about it, let me explain:

If you're in a LTR, you might not necessarily be motivated, maybe even the opposite and you get complacent, it depends on how you perceive the girl. But one thing you will have is more stability always having someone there for you.

One can become very motivated when they are single and they want to improve their looks and what not, but I feel that it only lasts a finite amount of time. It's like being pumped on adrenaline. If you go for too long being single without getting a desirable gf, you can also very easily fall back into being complacent because you aren't seeing results. These are not theories, they're experiences.

I'll give you an example from a movie of what I mean about how a gf can keep me more motivated. Have you guys seen the movie, "As Good As It Gets" where Jack Nicholson's character says to the girl "You make me want to be a better man." It's like that. The guy was already a successful best selling novelist and lived in a nice apartment and did whatever he wanted, but having someone he desired in his life gave him that extra inspiration.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

You become like the people around you.

There is a simple rule of life that I'm sure many of the DJs here already know, but maybe you younger guys don't: you become like the people you surround yourself with. If all your buddies are druggies who smoke pot all day and watch anime and never go out to meet chics, guess what, you will probably do the same.

If all your buddies are hard-working, successful guys who live life to the fullest and love going out to meet new women, well guess what, you will emulate them.

The same applies to the woman (or women) in your life. If she is a high quality person those qualities will rub off on you and inspire you to be a better person. If she is a low quality person she will eventually drag you into her pit of destruction.

In the end though, I feel a person should make their own happiness, and a significant other is just the icing on the cake.
