Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

Brooke Shields says she feels 'overlooked' in her 50s: 'Sexiness doesn’t have to just be a young person’s reality'
And I obviously didn’t think to question it when I was in my twenties. It wasn’t until I got passed 50 where I thought, wait a minute, there’s nobody out there talking to me, they’re overlooking me."

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Women don't really know how privileged they are when they are younger. Only when they are older and less attractive does it start to hit.
“Youth is wasted on the young”

We all heard it growing up, but never truly grasp it until you get older.

What does it matter if she's overlooked? She's 57 years old and has been with the same partner since 1999.
