"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Halloween Part 1: Friday

Warmup | ~4 Approaches

I went to a garage style party with friends, and it was a very different environment from the strip. Predominantly Black crowd, lots of thick, attractive women, and a much denser atmosphere. My approach anxiety was a bit higher than usual, partly because I was so attracted to the women there.

Still, I forced myself to open, using short direct approaches like “You look good. What’s your name?”

Main Set: Raven (Teen Titans)

I opened a girl dressed as Raven. Strong eye contact, good conversation, and plenty of dancing and physical engagement. She seemed receptive.

At one point, she started talking about how difficult it was to get a drink through the crowd. I recognized it as a soft request but bought her one anyway. Normally, I wouldn’t have fallen for that on the strip, but the unfamiliar environment had me dropping my guard. Part of my thinking was that getting a drink would give me an opportunity to move her around and escalate.

We continued dancing, and I eventually went for a kiss. She rejected it. I laughed it off with “Haha, too soon,” and recovered without making things awkward. I wasn’t able to get this set to move forward so I moved on.

Other Sets

The remaining approaches were mostly quick blowouts. One girl initially seemed receptive but walked away, while another interaction fizzled because I struggled to keep the conversation going.

Overall: Lower volume and higher AA than usual, but a useful warmup. The goal is to bring the same composure I’ve developed on the strip into unfamiliar environments.

Halloween Part 2: Saturday

October 31 | ~17 Logged Sets | Pulled

Started the night on the strip with some friends. It was raining intermittently, but I was determined to get my approaches in.

Something became obvious after my first couple of sets: my approach anxiety has dropped dramatically. Opening women, including two-sets and larger groups, felt almost effortless. Direct openers seemed to work much better for me than indirect ones.

Memorable Sets

Dance Floor Set

Opened a girl on the dance floor. We established strong eye contact almost immediately, and things got physical quickly. I took her hand, spun her around, and she started throwing it back on me, grinding while we danced.

The energy was great. We were laughing, flirting, and maintaining strong eye contact throughout.

Eventually, she mentioned she was looking for her wife.

Wait. Her WIFE?

She explained that she lets her wife have one man a year. Naturally, I had to investigate.

“Do YOU get one man a year?”

“No, I’m a lesbian. Hella gay!”

I laughed and told her, “Oh, if you’d said yes, I would’ve said something VERY risqué.”

She burst out laughing. “Stopppp!”

We continued having fun, and before leaving, she asked me for a kiss on the cheek.

Great interaction, plenty of chemistry on the dance floor, but obviously no potential for a pull. On to the next.

The Airbnb Set

Opened another group, initially talking to one of the girls before getting into a playful exchange with her friend.

At one point, the friend interrupted us.

“Are y’all talking trash about us?”

I joked “You wouldn’t BELIEVE the **** she was saying about you! I think my feelings would’ve been hurt and I’d have had to go home.”

That got things moving.

I ended up dancing with this thick girl, and she was extremely physical. We were having fun, and I started investigating logistics. Turns out she was staying at an Airbnb just up the street.

I decided to go for the pull, suggesting we go take some shots. She mentioned that they had Twisted Teas, but the pull didn’t go through.

I then tried getting her number, but instead of giving me hers, she suggested I get her friend’s number.

There was another guy with the group, but I didn’t initially realize who he was. Then I discovered something ridiculous. THAT WAS HER FIANCÉ.

I’d been dancing with this man’s fiancée right in front of him! He was also hugging another girl in the group, which made the entire situation even more confusing. It’s incredible to me that he said nothing.

Suddenly, her reluctance to fully commit to dancing with me, the failed pull, and the attempt to redirect me toward her friend made a lot more sense.

I apologized once I realized what was going on. Wild interaction.

Going Solo: The Pull

Eventually, my friends left, and I continued approaching alone. Another reason why solo is the foundation.

At this point, opening groups felt extremely natural. I ran several more street sets, including two-, three-, and four-sets. Most were quick rejections or interactions that didn’t develop, but the approach anxiety was remarkably low.

Final Set: Street to Hotel

Opened a thick Black woman on the street. Her friends had already gone home, which was ironically the same situation I was in.

There was physical engagement early, and I quickly established logistics. She was staying at a hotel just up the street.

I moved with her to her hotel, initially to get a drink at the hotel bar. We eventually went up to her room, where I closed.

Result: Pulled. Sex.

Takeaways

The biggest revelation was how easy opening has become. Even approaching groups alone no longer feels particularly intimidating. That’s a massive improvement from where I started.

Direct openers continued to feel more natural and effective than indirect ones, and I was comfortable approaching a wide variety of sets throughout the night.

The final pull also demonstrated the value of good logistics. Her friends had left, her hotel was nearby, and there was a natural way to continue the interaction.

Overall: Strong session. Low AA, multiple memorable interactions, comfortable group approaches, and a successful hotel pull. Opening is becoming automatic, and the night ended with a solid result.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
