"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Hey guys, just a quick question. Are there any basic 'rules' you should follow when getting a haircut? Like, I know what I want personally. Yet I also want my hair to look decent. Right now I have pretty long hair...as in bangs just below eyebrows, over ears, etc. I want to get it cut short, to give it abit of an edge rather than a shag.

What I'm saying is, I have a relatively big nose(no not THAT big), so is there some unspoken rule that I shouldn't get my hair cut short? I got a comment acouple weeks ago from a friend, while he was remarking how alot of girls seemed to like me. He said "It must be the hair, dude" or some bogus like that. Obviously he has no idea what's really happening, but it still shows that people like my hair long.

Is there some website that I can go to that basically lays out all the Do's and Don'ts of haircuts?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I shave it all off once a month. Minimal effort. And chicks love to rub it.

Depends on what's congruent with your style and personality. I've looked for websites, but they aren't helpful. They'll show haircuts your Mom might like...

Recommend you find a decent stylist in your area, and give her some freedom. I live on the left coast, and can find such for $25 a visit. Say to the stylist "I am not sure what to do with my hair. I want something that fits who I am, and would be attractive to women. You have freedom to recommend something quite different from what I have."

^^ Mine is #3 when I don't do anything to it. It's closer to #4 when I do.

Wondering if I should stay with what works, or trim the shag off and go clean cut. For who I am/what I do, clean cut would fit the stereotype.

I've been reading alot about facial shapes/features playing a big part in what hair style you should go for. Still torn between a basic flip cut(short, gelled, front spike) or a cut like Owen Wilson(long shag, bangs). According to the facial shape, I have the face of a model(in other words, should cut my hair and reveal face). Yet my nose is pretty prominent, so it also tells me I should keep the bangs.

Fvck.

I only have 2 rules with getting a haircut.

1. request the hottest chick to cut your hair
2. game her

I like to pull the line..."Just make me look good." I think its the man version of fishing for a compliment though. haha!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I'm trying to get something like #3. Not quite long enough yet but it's close. I used to have the clean cut gel look...but I'm not sure if it was best for me. My face is kind of the innocent pretty boy style, so I think longer hair gives me a little more rugged look. If your face is naturally masculine and/or rugged then maybe a shorter more 'neat' style might be the best choice for you.
