"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

How to handle the phone issue:

You sit down somewhere. You take out your phone and shut it off or silence it, saying, hold on one second, I just want to shut this thing off. I don't like phones interrupting when I'm with someone.

If she has any class at all (and interest in you), she will get the hint. Works for me 100%.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I noticed she was trying to secretly peak at her phone on her lap

Maybe I do things differently, but at that point, I'd "call her out" on it, but in a reverse psychology sort of way. "What are you doing? You don't have to hide your phone. I'm not offended." You just demonstrated that you are sharp enough to catch her being sneaky, which is attractive, and you'll get your point across just as well as asking her to shut it off. Women are good at taking subtle hints.

And furthermore, in this day and age, especially with younger girls, I wouldn't ask them to choose between me and their phone. That phone raised them. It's the only thing they know. I can't remember ever not getting laid, because a girl looked at her phone too much. If her idea of a date is to sit in a bar while I drink and she plays on her phone, and then we go home and fvck, I'm ok with that.

She just checked to see if you and any plans this weekend...and you verifies you didn't. She extrapolates that to mean you have nothing going on in your life and you are going to turn into a needy dude down the road.

Not saying its true...just how women think.

You should NOT have made yourself available both weekend nights. Might still turn oit OK but dont do that in the future.

I tried that no phone thing. But it’s an addiction now a days. My GF was really good on not having it out early on on the first few dates, but eventually you get into dating longer and you both have your phones out and it’s hey, look at this funny thing blah blah. “Jenny just texted and asked if we’re free for a game night on xxx”.

Regardless of how invigorating and how manly you are to your chick during the date, she’s still gonna check that phone
