So guys I will be getting surgery for a mild case of gyno that has been bothering me since I was 19, i thought it would go away on it's own but it never did. It really messes with your mind at times and its embarrassing to take your shirt off anywhere. Has anybody experienced the same?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I thought I had it when I was younger but once I started lifting my chest took a nice shape. Turned out just to be a little extra fat. Do you workout?

Yeah dude, surgery sounds dangerous even. It may be that is goes away after a couple of workouts like TheStig! Try a few other things before surgery, that's my opinion! What did u try?

You can try to fix it chemically, definitely less invasise than surgery.

Check on steroids forum since its a common problem for users, many guys managed to solve it with an aromatase inhibitor and cutting bodyfat.

The only moment when surgery could be necessary is when you're lean enough but still have fat on your chest or puffy nipples but most of the times it can be solved chemically.

Except "Aromatase inhibitor" sounds so...well, chemical... that is, inhumane, and dangerous as well... That's why I think it's better to try out some herbs, cold showers, Tai Chi, I don't know, something like that! Cutting body fat, yeah, that sounds better. Just IMO.

The best thing of course is to talk about an endocrinologist about such problem and have his supervision, the problem is that most family doctors are not that really open minded nor educated in anything with is not traditional.

Its not hard for example to find family doctors which suggest to avoid protein powders or creatine if you hit the gym.

The best thing would be some bloodwork to make sure there is no hormonal imbalance, then again drop bodyfat to make sure its not just general fat.

Once the situation is more clear, many actions could be done.

I have slightly puffy nipples (a wonderful present from my puberty) and they got much better in only a couple of weeks of formeron.
