It's my local gym, so I don't want to create drama in a place where I'll be almost every day. Additionally, the fear of violence is very real because people don't pick fights they can't win; they use knives, guns, or their friends.

I'm a big guy, so I wouldn't be my first choice to fight...but I'm not trying to get shot, stabbed, or killed over a girl who isn't even mine.

It depends on the circumstances.

I'm not changing gyms over a bad approach incident or 1-2 sexless dates without an extended relationship. It wouldn't be pleasant to see a woman after that, but it's tolerable.

If I met a woman at the gym, we had a relationship, and an unpleasant breakup, I think I would have some interest in changing gyms to not see her. Maybe she would want to change gyms to not see me.

yup doesn't matter, i'm sure or it just won't surprise me if men will forever be stuck with the role of having to make advances and being the initiators, even if that means men having to risk and have awkward cringe interactions that result in women perceiving the man as weird or creepy, uncomfortable, awkward, while women can get away with never being perceived by men that way.
