"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

the part about online dating that I dread the most is writing a profile. I feel so self conscious writing about myself and I'm not funny or entertaining writer

if I give you my lifestory, will you write a good profile for me?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You're not going to come off as genuine and congruent if other people write your profile. It's like writing a resume. You need to find a way to sell yourself.
Fake profiles are easily detected as well. Do you really think a fat@ss looking guy or girl spends everyday in the gym?

You can't be lazy about this entire process.
The investment needs to come from you right from the start.
If other people did everything for you and you did nothing, you will never learn.

My advice to you is to read other male profiles online and copy and paste sections you liked into your own profile.
Don't forget to proofread it at the end so it doesn't look like incoherent nonsense.

I don't claim to be a master or even close but I do go on dates and luckily with pretty, educated and well put together women. Here's what I can offer:

1. Pictures...pictures and good pictures. This is your main selling point. Have one good/prof selfie but no more than two. Have pics with buddies and pics where you're doing activities. If you don't have them go ahead and start taking them at every opportunity, if you're like me (not very photogenic, you'll take hundreds, over time, and pick 3 or 4 from them).
2. Profile - less info is better...don't write a novel or go into details (leave it for in person meeting) but also don't write a very generic one. Have at least one witty remark that's original, it doesn't have to be a stand-up comedian material but something that she will remember you by from all the other dudes.
3. This one will be controversial here but know what you want! Personally I don't waste time chasing women (my time and their's) who are not going to work out long term. Hold out for those you think will be a good match. I skip over many good looking women because something else in their profile made me think we won't work out.
4. It's not a perfect science, just play the online dating game like most women do...as a game.

Hope that helps.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
