Senior Don Juan
I have been asked before my women why guys think of sex so much and/or if sex is all we care about. Obviously women think of sex too, but men do tend to think about it more. Although, I’m sure most of us think that part of the reason is because of men’s relationship with other men, i.e. locker room stories, bragging rights, etc., we all know that it’s mostly just our nature. Anyway, I was trying to think of a way to put it in terms that women would be able to understand. So I came up with a comparison between Men and Sex, and Bruce Banner and the Hulk. I decided to put it up on this site so that you can use it if asked this question in the future.
There is a scene in the Hulk movie, in which men who work for a top secret government research facility invade Bruce Banner’s home to capture him and take him back to their labs. Bruce gets into a fight with one of the men, who he knows and hates. After several minutes of fighting Bruce is no longer able to sustain the rage that this man has caused and he transforms into the Hulk, a gigantic green humanoid, with only one desire, to destroy everything he sees. This is a typical cause and effect of a Bruce Banner to the Hulk transformation. The anger is always inside Bruce, but it is just at a level where he can control it, until something sets him off. Then he starts to transform and sometimes he can’t stop it even if he wanted to. But the thing is when it happens he likes it. Now here is how it is similar to men and sex. A man is just like Bruce Banner. A man acts normal and thinks clearly until a woman, the men from the top secret facility, comes along. Instead of fighting the man with fists, she fights him with her appearance. The man loses control of his desire, because just like Bruce’s rage, it’s always there. He transforms into the Hulk (in more ways than one
), which symbolizes a man in a horny state. Except the man doesn’t desire to destroy things, he wants and thinks about sex. Like Bruce, he can’t always control it, it just happens and can happen at anytime. And also like Bruce, most of us wouldn’t want to stop it anyway.
So what do you guys think? I’d like to hear your opinions about it or any comparisons that you may have yourself.
