i've been talking and dating this girl for quite a while...2/3 weeks or so and well at first we hit it off very well. we have a myriad of things in common, she's beautiful and intelligent. keeper? not sure, but a great companion for now. but as of late she's been ultra flakey. never returns my calls-actually text messages me and tells me sorryshe didn't call back...? then she asks me if i'm busy later and i tell her no and that she should call me. i know i should call her, but it's really irritating, and i think she's either testing me for insecurities or blowing me off the nice way, which wouldn't be suprising cuz' she's very nice. anyway, what do you think i should do? ignore her til' she calls or shall i call her and let her know how i feel about her flakiness already?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Flakiness is a sign of low interest. I'd back right off.

It sounds like she's doing all the things you should be doing.
