"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

group conversations?

What are some good ways to become the center of attention in a group conversation that includes both guys and girls? Yesterday I went to Kings Dominion ( a theme park ) with a large group but when I was trying to join group convos there was always one or two guys that dominated the conversation and made everyone laugh, while I was just standing there quietly not knowing what to say.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a bad one on one conversationalist. I can usually keep a conversation flowing and make people laugh with funny stories and some jokes. But in the group I just couldn't think of anything to say cuz these guys were just coming up with joke after joke and acting stupid and getting all of the attention.

It was terrible. One of the guys even had the girl I was kind of in a relationship with clinging to his arm.

I did read the bible and the conversation guides, but I wasn't sure if those rules would apply because the guys there were making the girls laugh with all of these hilarious comments and I didn't think it'd be good to just pop in with a question or random comment.

Also, throughout the whole trip, the guys were physically teasing the girls throughout the whole trip but not in the way described in the bible (like they would hit them with stuffed animals, squeeze their cheeks, squeeze fat on their stomachs, etc) but they seemed to love it anyway. Is this another type of kino?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yes, thos AMOGS, were doing exactly what they needed to do....They were C&Fing....making jokes and making fun of the girls. And when you said they threw stuffed animals and pinched their cheekes...this demonstrates higher value...wich in return they will respect you for. Sounds like they were using the bratty little sister technique....they probably didnt know they were though.

Study how they interact with the girls, notice their body language, and their tonality, and facial expressions. Try and mimmic that....and soon you will natuarly develop your own style.

Yeah, it did seem like what they were doing was pretty effective. I was always scared to touch girls in the way they were doing (often hitting them lightly, pinching, etc) because i thought the girls would get mad. At first the girls did seem to get angry at them but later the girls end up hugging them and not even letting them go, so it must be having some effect. lol. but about the talking part... how would you handle that kind of group conversation? For example if you were at a theme park what would be some good situational stuff to say to get them laughing? For some reason I couldn't think of any...

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

sometimes you just have to "plow", as TD says

you just jump in and talk, hijack the conversation. just be careful not to seem like an AW, but still be alpha.

another funny thing is to have your own "reality" and your "reality" has to be more fun than everyone elses reality

example: the whole group is talking about something, lets say the AMOG is talking about his pet pit bull. and the AMOG is stealing the spotlight from you.

you just randomly interrupt, maybe not even to the AMOG or the girl, maybe you just ignore them, as if they are boring, and you just start talking to one person in the group.

and you might make some funny joke, completely random and unrelated to the conversation. like you might say, "did you see Saturday Night Live? They had a ****ing hilarious skit with Napolean Dynamite"

and then you get one or 2 people interested in your story. and you just maybe do an impression of the skit, and get everyone laughing, and soon the whole group notices that you and the person you are talking to having a GREAT time, laughing.

and you make some inside jokes up with the new person. and everyone hears the inside jokes and gets jealous that they are not in on the joke, and they are jealous beacuse your "reality" seems more fun.

when that happens, the whole group will try to join your reality instead of the AMOG. you just have to make sure it is a more fun reality with inside jokes, crazy stories, fun and laughing.

Hmm... that sounds pretty good. So I should try to avoid trying to join the AMOG's conversation and become the center of attention myself. By the way what is an AW?
