got drunk.....kicking myself

So...well i was invited to a small get together from a girl that i dig. Background on her is, that there is none. WE had a class together and started hangin out, but I have never made any moves, never really thought about it. But, we have a connection and i want to see her more.

SO, i drink before i go to her house. Get their kick it for a while. At some point during the night, someone goes into my backpack that was on the couch and takes some liquor of mine. When im drunk i can get upset easily. So upset about the principle of the matter i am pissed off.

I didnt talk trash to anyone, but apparantly i was starin real hard at one guy and when i talked to this girl today, she told me "(I) didnt act like me and that it seemed like someone else, and that i am an angry drunk."

I take things to heart. I jsut do. I want people to enjoy my company and I want people to have positive experiences when around me.

But im not a biatch. If someone is stupid i'll tell them. However, last night i was quiet jsut real upset. So, apparntley i wasnt myself and so, i walk home.

I feel bad and when talking to this girl today i felt bad. WE have hung out alot but im concerned that i messed up hard last night, maybe im just to hard on myself. I didnt fight or argue, i was just real upset. So, she says " you haev been sayin we never drink together so we finally do and you were in the other room."
Everyone was playin drinkin games and i was like, damn, i dont need a game to get drunk, plus their were no seats so i sat on the couch. also a way to see if she would come sit down.

Am i overreacting? THis is a good example of why you dont drink before visitng a girl you have an interest in. I dont think ill call her, but if she wants to call me thats cool. Did i blow it?
I would like to think there is enough history of at least a friendship that it wouldnt be a big deal, but you never know.

What should I do?

Forget about it. Act like it never happened and don't bring it up. If you make a big deal out of something, the other person is likely to view it that way too.

If she was drinking too she will not remember everything anyway and she probably did something stupid/embarassing too at some point.

Sounds like she still might have interest (if she has any - can't judge). You need to clarify the position between you two by making a definite move. If she is interested she is waiting for you to initiate, but she won't wait forever.

At least you now know the problem with getting drunk when trying to get chicks! Also remember if it did come to getting it on you wouldn't be in any state to.
