"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Went and met a few friends at the bar last night for a few drinks. When I got there I noticed there were two new girls with our usual group that I'd never met before. One of them I'd say was about an hb8. That was my target. I had one of my female friends that seemed to know her pretty well introduce us and I took a seat next to her and starting chatting her up. Asking lots of open-ended questions, letting her do the vast majority of the talking. With the exception of a few jokes and short answers I didn't say much. I didn't really go for anykind of kino, but noticed when she would get up for any reason she'd run her hand across my shoulders ro brush against my leg. I'd occasionally get myself and go chat with other people for a few minutes then come back and chat more with her.

Then things took a turn for the worst. My best friend, whom is having some personal problems right now got pretty trashed. In amongst my one of my times were I left her sitting to chat with someone else I look out the window and notice my friend stumbling around the parking lot. Long story short I had to literally disappear and haul ass to the parking lot to retrieve my drunken friend without making a scene out of it. By the time I managed to get him in my truck and drove him home all my friends had already left the bar. Whether or not it was a good call I'm not sure but I did call the girl that introduced myself and the hb8 and apologize for my taking off like that.

So close.....yet so far away.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

noticed when she would get up for any reason she'd run her hand across my shoulders ro brush against my leg.

She was giving you the green light. I would have started a little Kino with her and gotten her number (just incase something came up) then I would have continued to be social with the group.

Nice job being social with everyone by the way. Most guys would of attached themselves to this girl all night.

and apologize for my taking off like that.

I don't agree with this move. Who is she that you feel the need to apologize to? Call her up, setup a time and place to meet for coffee or lunch and be done with it. It's none of her business why you left, but if she's curious enough to know what happened, let her ask.

Fair cop where its due!

You are a real sport and did the decent thing rescueing your friend . . But I would have words with him, and let him know in no uncertain terms, that that was the last time you go out of your way like this!:trouble:

If one is an idiot . .Then . Your old enough to get drunk, your old enough to take responsibility . .:kick:

This only shows that as far as women go, it is always better to operate as a lone wolf . .

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
