"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ok guys, I got an e-mail back from a girl I asked out.

She basically told me that she was busy for the rest of the week, as she has school and work. Told me she would let me know when she had some free time. I figure if she was interested enough, she would have made time, so am I right to assume she has a low interest level? Keep in mind this was a chick who I caught checking me out when I was in the store. If that helps any.

Now, I was thinking of gaming her some more, by going in sometime this weekend to rent a movie, and then ask her when her shift is done to meet me at a bar or club. Would this come off as too needy? Or should I give it a shot?

Sorry if this comes off as dumb, but after the last experience I need all the help I can get. :)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Yeah it might come off as needy. I would keep building rapport but watch her signs.

I mean, how do you know she's into you? Is she taking longer than usual to check your rental out? Is she all shy/blushy when you talk to her? I mean, GIVE ME more details.

If there is a place you genuinely want to go casually offer to have her meet your there when you bump into her.

There is a difference between persistence and neediness.
If she declines, the ball is in her court, go find some other girls. Let her contact you. And next time you go to where she works or whatever, leave her alone, dont even look at her. Or better yet have a good looking girl with you.

Basically, when I'm in the store, I catch her looking at me, that's what I meant by "checking me out". lol, although she does take a while to check out my rental, even though she has been working there for a while. Also, she is very chatty when I'm in the store, unlike the other employees.
