"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We live fairly close together and was thinking of asking her to go on a hike to this big rock you can climb up. So far I have gotten a couple thumbs up on this idea, but am not sure where to go on dates with someone who cant drink.

Thanks!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Anything but dinner and a movie lol but you already knew that.

I like the hiking idea. Pretty much anything that you personally enjoy and will allow you to kino her and build attraction and comfort.

Mini golf is another idea that comes to mind that could be a good one.

Don’t do bowling, it’s too much walking back and forth and screws with the ability to create enough attraction and rapport IMO.

Even though she’s 18 I’m assuming she still drinks anyways. Maybe after your date (whatever it may be) try to move the location over to your house for a couple drinks and a movie? Or a couple drinks and a game of pool if you have a pool table. Then obviously go for the smash :D

One good c0cky/funny line (moreso funny) that I read online somewhere, might actually be this forum, was when you’re trying to get her back to your place say “I have this REALLY amazing tap water back at my place, you HAVE to try it” with a big ole’ cheeky smile on your face. Haven’t tried it yet but apparently it’s worked for this other dude and I personally find it pretty funny.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Active dates are always good...i used to always go for drinks and pool/darts or walk in park and ice cream after.

Can't go wrong with either of those.

Pretty much agree.

Marmel idea is good too.

She's 18, impressing her will be easy in term of "activities" and might expect you to "do coffee and drinks or Netflix and chill"

Do something different than the standard 18 years old.

Hiking a great idea, it's intimate, remains public (outdoor), possible kino, cheap.

I recommended activities that don't cost much money. She's 18... likely student but broke nonetheless.

The activity should be something that allows for communication.

Also, Marmel idea was good but I would avoid activity that you "aren't good"... Pool if she owns you or you plainly suck at it.. You will not stand out in a good way.

Kayak, Hiking, walk in the parc, picnic, animal or artistic expositions, festivals, swimming pool, beach, mini-golf, a sport where you exchange and avoid competitiveness (tennis, judo, badminton, frisbee), you might want to bring her to dance night (if you know how to dance) or a dance event to watch... you can do a mix of all these. Ex: walk in the park, watch the dance night, followed by fireworks... or hiking followed by picnic.

A festival or " fair" followed by coffee to talk about the festival. The coffee you take it while walking and end up sitting at the lake.

Avoid concerts (too loud, and the focus becomes the music)

You want something you enjoy, easy to do, doesn't require her to "pay alot or demand alot of logistic" , easy to transition (especially if you both don't enjoy the date, you can have a way out or if its enjoyable you kino up) and where you comfortable/can standout positively

School boy error.

Get her out ASAP. Bounce to several locations. Get a throater.
