Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

What do you think of being goofy and acting dumb sometimes to get laughs? I do this a lot... I started doing it when I was young because I thought I was boring and wanted to be more fun. Now, a lot of people think I'm weird/stupid when I act goofy, but a lot of people also think I'm funny. What do girls think of goofy people? If it's bad how would you go about changing?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

It could go either way. If you act like your trying to get their approval then STOP. If your doing it so for YOU, so you have fun than its great.

GIve examples, being "goofy" is just to general.

Alright, well... in my Ceramics class there is this girl that was eating this really weird looking food. This girl is my friend and I'm not really interested her but I often act ****y and funny with her. WHen I asked her what that food was, she jokingly replied "your momma". so as a joke, i said beth why are you being so spunky (that word acutally sounds really funny when spoken)? and a lot of my friends thought it was funny and she laughed too but she shook her head a little and i can tell she thought it was kind of weird. Yeah... that kind of stuff

Goofy is aite sometimes...but too goofy and girls will only see you as a clown

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Yeah, just use CF. You will just come off as a joke, and this makes keno harder too because the girls probly just thing you are joking. If you want to take on the silly dude roll you really have to make the joke only for yourself, and get really good timing.

Can you explain what you mean by making the joke for myself?

What I mean is that you arn't being too dependent with your joke cracking, and the only reason you make a joke is to amuse yourself and your are clearly not trying to get anyone's acceptance by making them laugh. Follow?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Don't be the class clown, be the guy who makes funny / witty comments every once and a while.

If you act too goofy, girls see you as entertainment rather than attractive.

if ur out for a few laughs, be a goof, go ahead, but if u want to succeed in building attraction w/ woman, unless your busting her balls in a funny way , keep the retarded comments to a minimum. I manage to make girls laugh no prob. and the **** i say sint even that funny. ( hint, if girl laughes at **** you say when ur totally being serious; she feels attraction toword u ) . but seriously, cut the bull****, if u wanna make her laugh, do it the right way.

the coolest guy i know never cracks jokes in a proper way... he's funny in the way that in a big crowd he says to the guy next to him "oh i got a big one" and lets a fart out so that the other guy is the only one who can hear it... doesn't sound funny, but you should see him (well, smell him)

furthermore, he's the one that while asked something by a teacher, turns his head to a mate and makes a really scared face, without the teacher noticing

he also draws on his school-desk big d1cks and immature stuff like that, or writes idiot stories on other guys' diaries

he may sound to you as a total goof, but he actually is not:
this guy plays rugby and he's pretty built and strong, in fact when somebody jokingly insults him, he "playfully" punches his arm or pushes him away... i've seen lots of guys with haematomas because of him:)

he has been seen grabbing by the collar a pusher who was trying to sell him bad stuff... i mean, he's extremely funny but he also has a big reputation and is really respected, so nobody tries to call him a goofy...

he also rarely goes out with his classmates (he has friends outside of his class), but when he accepts an invitation, he makes the party going, since he brings weed, music and everybody relies on him to have fun

one thing that just came to my mind is that he NEVER acts this stupid with girls, because he actually doesn't consider them... not that he pretends not to see the hot girl next to him, it's like he doesn't see any girl in school, he just approaches hot babes at the club, but in school he spends his whole time with other guys

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
