"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Its been over 2 years since I discovered this website and my girl skills are now at a decent level. The problem is I kind of have a bad reputation at school from my first 3 years of high school (senior now) of being a loser/geek/whatever and while I've changed this year most people still see me as that person I was before.

The situation now is I can get that initial interest from a girl, a date, etc but then people at school find out that she is dating me and they go and say all these negative things about me to her. This is usually as far as things get as no one wants to be dating a loser. I'm starting to think I don't have a chance at getting with any of the girls as my school for an extended period of time and I will have to wait until next year at college where I will have a clean slate.

Does anyone else have this problem. What can I do about this?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

When I was in high school there was this guy that was with his gf in school like all day! if you saw him he would probably be walking with his gf holding hands, they would have the same classes, when it was break time they would go to a spot to be alone never anywhere near crowds, always somewhere quiet where they could talk. They didn't hang out with anyone, it was just them two. He was always well dressed and clean he was not caring about other people and enjoying his time at school with his gf. Im only giving you that story so you can realize that THE REST DON'T MATTER! What other people say affects you because you let it affect you. You can be with your gf and just with your gf. You can avoid the crowds, the cliques, the morons, the b|tches and just be with your gf.

You can dissassociate yourself from people if you want to, and this is what you have to do in your case.

I admired that guy because he was an old style boyfriend in an old style relationship where it is more about dissasociating yourself from other people and being with your gf. These days a relationship is not just a guy and a girl, but you have all the gossipy girlfriends of your gf plus all your other friends and stupid people and crowds etc. That guy thought his gf was the important thing, what mattered to him and he concentrated his time just on her.

It's hard for people to accept you've changed. Don't worry about it, they don't matter. If you want to meet girls you can always meet them somewhere at a mall or from another school. Don't spend all your life worrying.

Most people on their death bed say something like "i wish I spent less time worrying and more time laughing and doing something." You seem like a cool dude, take it easy.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
