"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Is it a good move to let girls know you are dating around? For example, i have been talking to a girl who is hot and cold with me--so i quit pursuing and started dating another girl. Old girl contacts me and i tell her i'm out with another hottie.

This just happened this weekend, so i have yet to see any results. Is this something that is necessary to raise interest or was is it pointless to let former girl know my current business/situation?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

How did she react to you telling her that? The way you said it, it sounds like you were telling her it's too late and goodbye. Which is fine, but if you want to spin her plate too, then I think you should have been more subtle and implied that you had other options instead of stating it bluntly. Get her mind churning and let her believe that there might be competition. I think it's better to be ambiguous about it because if you state it bluntly it's alot easier for her to just come to terms that you've moved on so she should too.

Yeah, I'd like to know what happens. I'm in the same situation. I've known this girl for awhile (through my friends, but she's not a close friends to me). She's been sending me mixed signals, but I'm holding back to move in until I'm more sure she's into me (b/c she's in my friend's circle, and I don't want to create an akward situation), so I'm taking a date to a party she's going to be at to gauge her reaction next weekend.
