Good dramas?

This weekend I optioned not to go out and party and wanted to stay home and watch some movies. I picked up Forrest Gump and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I loved both of them a have grown a huge appreciation for dramas now. Is there any movies like them? Like in the mold of the character narrating the story from child hood and on?

Once Upon A Time in America, it isn't narrated, but it goes through the main characters childhood, teen years & so on (goes for 4 hours though).

Once Upon A Time in America is a good one.
But Once Upon a Time in the West is the greatest movie ever.
Big Fish and O Brother, Where Art Thou? are great in that narrative vein.
