"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Here's the deal:

I met a girl, who lives about an hour away. She tells me she's going to be in my town this weekend and that I should go out with her and her friend. Am I in the wrong to decline this offer? The reason why I don't like the situation is I sort of feel like I'm put in a position to win over this girl AND her friend. If her friend, for whatever reason, doesn't like me...she could seriously ****block me by influencing my target. My point is, people act differently when they're with friends as opposed to being alone and since this is a first date it really puts me at a disadvantage. Opinions on this?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Don't have much experience with this thing. But you should just beable to be a "man" and then be fine.
Also, if you're going out with two chicks, it's not a "date".

...

Unless you get a threesome going, lol. Then I guess you can call it a date.

normally i wouldnt go because it would cost me..if u got cash then go for it. Just be casual and relaxed and have fun but I think u cant get really intimate with the one who asked you out. But you could still go for it to gain her friend as a powerful ally!!

The key here as stated by GGTW and Made is to basically to go out on a date with both of them, but direct MOST of the conversation towards the friend, since the date will be generally quiet while watching the two of you interact......this will work double to your advantage because the friend will actually do the gaming for you while you are not around since you've already charmed her pants off, and all you have to do is sit back after the date and let her do all the work for you."OMG, he is SO funny Sandy, he is just the greatest guy. Doesn't he have the cutest ass *giggle giggle* you are SO lucky!"....all this attention towards the friend will create just the right amount of jealousy in the date (and we ALL know how powerful and emotion jealousy is)

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Yeah, it's not a "date".

To me, it REEKS of "LJBF" or simply "I don't trust you."

Like everyone said, if you go, mack on her friend. Make her jealous. :D

Go for it and if it sucks leave. More fish in the sea.
