Going for the close: rules

Hey all, I know making the close with a chick is the first step in getting a date, however..I just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page here.

For example, if you start macking it to a chick somewhere (club, super market) and think the chances of you not running into her anytime soon....you naturally go for the close right then and there. If you fail to do so, she is most likely gone.

However, now as a grad student in Boston....I am living on campus at an all girls undergrad school (it is great)

I have already talked to two 7's that I met on campus. One convo was around 3 minutes and the other was maybe 10 minutes. I DID NOT go for the close because most likely I will run into these women on campus very soon in the near future. I feel going for the close right away in these situations makes you look needy, instead of looking like you are playing it cool.

Do you all agree with me on this?

E-mail is a copout, at least a cellphone or home phone number that she WILL answer. hell, lately I've been getting a kiss out of a girl within like 5 minutes of meeting if the vibe is right. I gotta say, "Do you want me to kiss you>" is FVCKING BRILLIANT!!!

Just because it puts the odds in your favor and even allows you to save face if she says no.

I see where your coming from mahon, i go to a pretty small highschool and it would be stupid to make a close when you'll see the girl around almost everyday.

She was actually in the Cafeteria last night, but she did not see me and I was with someone else.

I am bound to run into her by the end of the month. I guess I will go for it then.

This is how it unfolded.

Last semester I was in the library (around mid December) the girl who I am talking about smiled at me. I did not do anything then because we were both busy with work. I did manage to say something to her before I left the library, but it was not really a moment to go mack it to her.

Yesterday I was in the book store and she was there. As she was coming out we made eye contact, I sort of smiled and said hi. She then said.."Oh, I remember you from the Library." We then talked for about 10 minutes and then she went into the library and I went about my business.
