Go for the kill or wait out ?

Went on a school trip for a soccer game at another university and met this chick there. We partied together and a buddy of mine tried to hit on her but she was feeling me.
Anways , 3 years later I find her on Facebook and we started talking and catching up. ( like once every week or so )

Anyways I decided to ask her out and she seems willing ( which is good )
I asked her out about 3 weeks ago for a sushi date , which I later canceled due to work priorities. I gave her another message and she declined the Monday but made a counter for Friday. ( Another good sign)
Problem is , I was suppose to be off work but my foreman has an emergency so I have to fill in for him on Friday and most likely through the weekend if we are to meet the deadline.

Now my dilemma is , I finish work early on the Thursday & a local paint balling club also has a ladies night which women get in for free. Plus the sushi place is right round the corner .
I was about to message her and propose that we meet up on thursday night instead or else I have to bail on her for a other week.
Which I think she will start to think I'm playing around.
Or should I give her a call tomorrow instead ?

Update

Me: Goodmorning S_____ , completely mixed up my schedule for the week. Got some work that needs to be completed on a deadline basis so I won't be able to make the Friday & i have a tight schedule for the rest of the weekend. However, if you are free we can go paintballing & grab some drinks afterwards.

Her : No worries lmaoo , I have a busy weekend as well. I have a day off on Thursday so we can do it. I'm so up for paintball !!!

Me: Sounds good , I will give you a call on thursday to arrange pick up time.

Her : Okay cool )
