Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
I'm used to approaching to build rapport and not necessarily for numbers, so I was a bit out of my element this morning.I feel hungrier for approaches now. That's a positive of it. I have all day to do another one also. The cafeteria is filled with HB's, there are HB's waiting in the hallways before my 1 PM class, and the rec center is full of HB's too. I just have to take a chance with the number closing today. I know I have all week to do this, but I want to not procrastinate. That and that approach pissed me off this morning. hahaAAAgent said:haha that was exactly what happened to me. I ran out of stuff to talk about and started to repeat myself. oh well, live and learn.
Ok, I did number close attempts after 2 cold approaches today, so my task is complete for the week.AAAgent said:you don't need to number close today. you can build rapport early on in the week and grab the number later. The weeks task is to cold approach and number close and the timeframe is one week.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
man Im here teaching english and trying my best to be pro mma over here.Robyn923b said:Good success story powpow! I swear I thought you were Asian, haha. The last thing in my mind was you being white. Out of curiosity: what are you doing in Tokyo?
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Thanks for the advice powpow. Yes, I was nervous about the first approach. I'm not used to negging as an opener, but I will definitely get used to it. I used to just do the "Hey, how're you doing" openers, but those don't lead anywhere generally(They should only be used in passing a female on the street, and even then, there are better ones). I'm taking Japanese class here in America, it's a fun class, but it is difficult to read and understand the sentence structure. I just learned my 46 Hiragana characters and now I'm learning basic things(like my major, year, nationality, etc...). I want to come to Japan someday after I've learned more Japanese. I'm running out of Asian women to approach here. haha I already speak Spanish since it's my major. I liked how you dragged that Japanese girl away from her "date" for the night, you went through a some resistance just to do that. Good job!powpow said:robyn man so close
yeah I think youre right, a playful, non-hurt neg sounds like a good option. seems like you play ****y funny pretty well - I know some people would say just take rejection and next this girl. But it seems like she was giving you some IOIs
if youre digging this girl, or just like a good challenge, go for it. I like your idea of talking about revenge - sets up a playful mood.
Deicide, good job with the approach man. Sounds like you were a little nervous, especially with the first girl.
Remember to keep closed ended questions to a bare minimum.
youre opener with the tan girl was good, but a little too caustic. try something more playful like pointing out that its still february, asking her what kind of sunny beach she just got back from. something like that. its still a neg because she will think she is less than your expectations not to be able to fly across the world to get a tan like that.
also, dont qualify yourself or fish for interest

Me: I'm going to lift weights later on today, but it's a pretty busy day for me.
man she doesnt care lol
but bro, nice job for approaching! just keep working on your game. best way to do it is to actually DO IT. well done.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
