"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I've always been an independent guy. I've always had a oneitis, sure, but I was able to keep that toned down and didnt' think much of it. I've always wanted a gf kinda sorta, but didn't really feel the need to do anything.

Now all that has changed and I feel so desperate. Why am I so desperate all of a sudden? I'm not showing still, but man I can feel it building up.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Because you've finally discovered that you're a loser...

J/K, yeah, I feel/felt the same way. So, now I'm breaking out of my shell and am gonna go up to a chick, grab her ass, and say, "let's do something... logical..."(Star Trek, yes I am a nerd).

hmm.....Lately I've actually been feeling the urge to settle down with one girl for a while. Now I used to be totally against this, but I dont know whats gotten into me. I think i gotta go do some more approaches.

Kerensky, How many girls are you seeing/ whens the last time you saw a girl? If its been like a year then yeah, your going to start feeling desperate- because you ARE desperate.

Get out in the field and get some new numbers!

No man I've been single all my life. I was a major AFC my freshman year, and now all the good chicks are taken. I'm a really popular guy and people love me, but I guess I'm successfully friendzoned 100% of the girls at my school. Yep.

I don't mind being single. I tend to like to 'settle down' but with 1 year left, I don't see the point in getting involved. I'm just going to do my job in school (study), get into a good college and pull a houdini. Seriously, if I had more balls or found this site 1 year earlier, I wouldn't be posting this, but you can't change the past so I guess I'll just learn from it.

Hey. It's cool that your taking college and school seriously. But if you've never had a girl, its no wonder why you would call yourself desperate.

Man, chicks are a great addition to life. You can say you dont mind being single, but how can you know whats better if you've never gone out?
It doesnt have to be with chicks from your school--id ont go for my school chicks. The next time you see a hot girl, approach her. Find out a little about her. Ask her number, and if you get it, GREAT, if you dont, GREAT. Just try again.
At least TRY girls out. Please. For me. It'll be a life changing experience.

I'm a busy man. I don't have time to pursue chicks outta my school. You know, I'm over it now because I thought about it logically. There are some girls who I am interested in, but they're taken. Their BFs are good buddies of mine, and I'm pretty much in the friendzone with them anyway. So I'm just going to let it all go and forget it because afterall, what right do I have to mess up their relationships?

Yeah I've got it set. I'm going to be one independent motherf*cker. I don't need anyone. I will be like a comet lighting everything in my path, but never staying for long, in the words of BBB.

I don't need other people. All I need is my music, my computer, food, water, my family, and myself.

Don't be so hard on yourself. As long as you keep the attitude you are developing now and put 100% into becoming a DJ when you enter college, than everything will be ok because you are determined to make up for the past. College can be the start of a new life.
