This is my pet peeve...I am in a town full of soldiers and the numbers are growing.
Now what I find annoying is that many girls are adopting the mentality that the soldiers are far better than anybody and etc bullcrap. They wont date anyone else but soldiers. There is a love/hate relationship going on over here.
The worst thing is that many of these guys dont even see combat or any action yet they are perceived as "heroes" or saviour in a uniform. They just use their label as soldiers to push their way around and intimidate. I'm not generalising but it is a growing problem where I am and many of my friends hate them and run a mile when they come along. Sure I respect a lot of soldiers but they have to show respect for the general public to earn it.
I can admit there are some good guys in the army, I was actually considering a career in the army but so much sh*t puts me off. There's been so much rape, drink spiking, bashings and other nasty crap these guys are up to when they are off duty.
There is a growing number of misconception that macho is a perfect substitute for DJism. This is turning into a terrible scene. It's really hard to go out these days because even if I'm clearly with my "catch", a whole frickin platoon would line up to do what they think resembles "macking". My game is tight and always get my girl but its getting a bit old when you always have to cheer up the girl after being creeped out by GI Joe or worst play the hero and take off with a girl that all of them want, which generally stirs up "player-hater" sentiments. It almost feels like I'm dealing with gangstas and thugs. I honestly can't find the difference in behaviour. It is really difficult to do my own thing when 6 or 7 soldiers come in and try "cut my grass" and insult me in front of my girl to impress everybody and threaten me to be ganged up when I stand up for myself.
And the girls who think theyre prized chickens here do make me sick. And army gfs do make good cheaters too...I've had 3 of them and I really wished they were up front about their "false" commitments. But noooo, now I have some muscle dummy with chronic heroism to deal with.
