"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Once a realtionship breaks down (in my case she ended it) and you part ways, why is it that they turn bitter... Eg. Block you everyway possible and spread rumours (in my case) she ended it ... So why would she do this? Especially when we had good times and memories. I can't seem too understand the reasons behind this. NO NEED!!!

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

To avoid cognitive dissonance. It makes them both feel and appear vindicated.

Her: "That fvcking @sshole! I hate him with all my heart!"
The crowd: "We agree! You did the right thing! You go girl!!!!"

It's a way to drown out the echoes of doubt. Once she achieves that, then she can sleep much easier at night.

Haha I could understand if I finished her but it's the other way round so basically the ball was in her court ... There was no need for her too do this. It's just really immature. I have a feeling she has a guilty conscience, and rather than her admit it and tell me the reasons she decided too spread nasty rumours about me in which once people hear they will form opinions. Seriously just when you think you know someone and think they're a nice person ... BOOM! VILE CREATURES!

That's exactly it, never underestimate a girl's ability to rationalize her poor behavior/character. She'll always try to make herself look like the victim or good guy.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Maybe ... Once she finished via text I didn't even reply.. I don't beg, it was her choice at the end of the day... Suppose I'll never know! The thing is I'm kinda seeing this HB8 who's 21 and she likes and comments on all my social media and I reckon she's seen this and it's made her pissed haha! I kind of like the phrase ' if it's not broken don't fix it' which doesn't answer why she ended in the first place. Who knows but this b!tch will get found out eventually!!

If she's doing that....you've definitely done something right post breakup. Stand back, get popcorn and beer, and enjoy your new celebrity status within your social circle.

Well that's good too know... As you said I'm just going to stand back and watch!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

True....

She doesn't realize this but she is actually pumping you when she runs you down.

What other women think when they see/hear this: "Wow, she is ticked... she must have really cared about him. I wonder what he has...."

If that's the case then why did she finish it ? And don't forget the rumours that she has spread are not little ones but nasty ... "Like I've been taking drugs in front of her son" which is complete and utter BS! I mean don't get me wrong I've moved on, and I seeing other girls etc... But I'd really like too get to the bottom of it as I can't help but think WHY? I treated her good. Also on the rumour part I can imagine Chinese whispers has a big part too play .. You know every time someone hears it they add there own little twist on it. On another note she only lives 5 mins away from me so I'm going too bump into her sooner or later ... What's the best way to deal with this?

Who gives a sh!t? It is what it is. Avoid her, build up social circles that don't involve her, and work on yourself until you get someone who is worthy of you.

Eventually the bitterness will melt away and she will only remember the good times.

P.S. Here is the technical answer to your question. We have layers of genes and mutations and evolution piled on top of each other, evolved over hundreds of millions of years. Somewhere in this jumble of interweaving genes is an vague instruction that says "if your relationship ends then act bitter". There is no reason for this instruction except that over millions of years women who followed it had a better reproductive success rate on average than women who didn't. But the key thing is that they do not know why they are doing it and hence you will never get a logical answer if you ask them.

Pairplusroyalflush nailed it.

A woman's first instinct is to take care of herself, most are incredibly selfish by nature. So they will throw you under the bus to protect their ego and self image. Anything to avoid having to look inside themselves and perhaps realize they contributed to the disintegration of a relationship. Anything to avoid responsibility.

Good 'ol blighty.
The bitterness(which is another form of investment) is her self-entitled way of saying you handled the situation like a champ.

Good job OP and goodbye to her.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
