"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Over the past few months I've been slowly changing from interaction with this site and thinking about and taking action to improve myself.

I had two women friends who I was a total afc to before. For one of them 90% of the time she would ever say a word to me is just to ask me for help and stuff in class, otherwise she'd kind of ignore me. She'd even bat her eyes and do the whole little girly plea voice when asking and I took time out of what I was doing to help her even though I honestly didn't want to. Now I realize being her ***** isn't going to get my anywhere and just tell her to do her own work or figure it out herself. (is that so ****ing evil?)

The other girl was just a giant attention slut. She hangs out with almost all guys, she is always touching and flirting with them, even her best friends boyfriend and is just very feely and stuff, but I believe its all just because she likes the attention guys give her for being flirtacious, I tried to get her to go out with me once but got rejected, and she would let me grab her ass and everything so I didn't know what was up back then. I made some lighthearted fun of her once and don't even bother going over to talk to her or waste my time giving her the attention she craves anymore.

Now both of these chicks have started going around saying how I'm mean or a jerk or an ass now. They are disrespecting and badmouthing me in front of other people for no good reason.

My dilemma is, do I tell these girls what I think of them (and I have some rather scathing remarks in mind) or do I just forget it. It's a small school/town. I'm worried doing this could potentially damage my reputation.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

What's "AFC" stand for?

My take on it's I wouldn't sweat the girls, just pay no attention to them. Pretend they never existed and think of how much better you are then them and how high above them you are. A guy with a reputation as an ass is much better then no reputation at all. And trust me if you are good with women no reputation can hold you down. And if you get a big reputation, you will be more interesting when you start gaming girls and they relize that you aren't an ass.

they don't like the fact that you changed. They want the attention from you back and now they are fighting.

Pay no heed to them and continue to improve. Once they see that they do not give you any jump or anything they will get bored and move on.

BTW if you want to be incredibly mean, DJ girls right in front of them :p

To me, when a girl that I don't like sees me either pick up a girl or go talk to other girls they will get jealous. Worked for me.

:cheer: And remember: EVERY girl gets jealous. EVERY GIRL GETS JEALOUS.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

This is good advice, there was a girl who was in my gym class who was also like this, attention-whorish, slutty, hangs out with alot of guys. I don't have many classes with her anymore, but when I see her in the hallway, I can tell she hasn't changed her ways. I can tell that she doesn't like me, when I asked a friend to ask her if she could come to my guitar gig and I asked the friend what she said, the friend told me, "She said that she didn't like you do", plus she gives me alot of looks, turned her head and didn't really look interested when I approached her, yeah, it doesn't take a genius to figure her out.

Exactly, *****ing at them is giving them attention, bad attention is better than no attention, as troublesome kids all over north america know.
