"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

hey yo

ok, so I'm a country boy. I live in NYC now.

Back home I could go out in public and approach girls EASY. No problem.

Now I can't. There's SO many people around. People are always on the go. It seems unnatural here to go up and talk to someone and keep them still for 2 minutes to talk.

How do you "cold approach" the ladies out here? I see women in the subway or on the streets that I'd like to approach all the time... but they're all either quickly passing, or (on the subway) everyone keeps to themselves.

I could also go out to clubs and such. I don't have any friends that I'd do that with out here, though.

So, any guys in NYC got any advice?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I dunno what to tell u. I used to try without much success. You can probably pick up chicks on the train but I don't care to talk to chicks on the train whether they're checking me out or not. I'm still single. I'm fed up. I hate the bronx. Now I wanna move to georgia.

I'm tired of tryin to talk to chicks in the bronx, nyc and they just continue walking about their business. People in general are not really friendly in NYC. It's like you said, everyone's on the go. No one really wants to stop and talk. I'm the same way when I'm in Manhattan, I usually don't stop for anything.

i think that in the train is easier than many places because they are still. ive done a few times and have succesfully have closed a few girls. i would just talk to people around me because its easier than walking accross the car to talk to a girl.
