Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
They met travelling and they come from the same state so I think it'll have been persuasion on his part and the particular programme she wanted to take being one of the best in the country.skip2mylou781 said:how in the world did HIM and HER end up in the same school??????
When we're together, almost every day, maybe more. Our sex life is good.Nighthawk said:Men don't walk on eggshells, they crush them under their masculine heel.
How often are you having sexual relations?
Don't acknowledge her bad behavior.PISTOL_WHIP said:We're happy together the majority of the time, its just once every so often she pisses me off somehow, like talking about how her ex. is ignoring her.![]()
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
I try not to. Thats one of the things I try to do. Like the other night when she talked about her ex (the reason why i made this thread) I first tried to play it off and change the subject, but what she said pissed me off so much and after the that there was an 'atmosphere'. She knew I was pissed, and when im pissed, she's pissed. Even though Im pissed at her. Do you follow?squirrels said:
When we're together, we rarely have breaks from one another. During the summer she came over to visit and she stayed for a month and we went abroad. We were hardly apart. Infact sometimes I need my own space. But, right now because we're apart we havent seen each other since august and I wont get over there until december.Nighthawk said:How often are you together? Without this detail it's hard to guage her interest level.
I mean it's a bad sign that you're questioning her integrity. I don't mean it's a bad choice to do so; I mean it's sad that you're in a situation where it happened naturally.PISTOL_WHIP said:What do you mean?

If she brings up stuff like this what do I say or do?

There are cues there, cues that women are adept at noticing, cues that you're picking up now, cues that suggest a bigger picture than what verbal communication alone tells you. And they're telling you that something is a bit askew.
Unless you nip this in the bud now by taking it head on, you run the risk of the relationship imploding.
So how do you handle this now? That's the problem. You can't talk to her without expressing mistrust, and you can't ignore it without conveying mistrust non-verbally. Either way, she'll realize on some level that you don't quite trust her, and that will only give her more reason to cheat.
Hence, the dower predictions. You're in a tough situation.
That's not good at all. You will not find many people here believing she is saving herself for you, but it does happen.PISTOL_WHIP said:But, right now because we're apart we havent seen each other since august and I wont get over there until december.

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
