"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Has anyone ever dated a girl with education focused on psychology?

Wow, they know the game. And play it to a TEE. Seems fitting, no doubt.

They will rip out your mind and stomp on it, right along with your heart, if you're not careful.

Unless you realize what they are doing, and beat them at their own game.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

FYI, when dealing with psychologist there isn't much reason to play games; you just end up looking as silly as every other AFC that tried to play games with them.

Francisco, you the man.

I just had to get that out of the way.

She's the one playing games. And I'm the one beating her at her own games :)

Yes. But the goal here is to dissect your character, and still have the woman fiending for you.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Talk about getting some really good field practice. I bet she's trying to treat you like every other "average" guy and you keep throwing her curve balls making her even more frustrated (and interested).

I am curious to what kind of games?!

Personally almost every women out there thinks she is a psychologist so it doesn't really make a difference if she is a proffessional or not. The key here is interest levels. Women tend to be hijacked by very intense emotions and when that happens, Freud or whomever she based her rules on tend to fly out the window.

Watch the movie "Departed" and see how a woman psychlogist is no different then any other woman.

Don't let your typical woman on the street or the media lull you into believing that women are equally knowledgeable psychologically. There's even a difference between women who have studied psychology and those who practice it for a living.

A RAFC could work his way around a typical woman on the street but I wouldn't necessarily expect him to handle a psychology student well and I'd tell him to run for the hills if an actual Psychologist approached him. A DJ on the other hand could handle the standard woman and a psychology student pretty well but unless he knows the "rules" of psychotherapy, he could find himself a bit over his head with many psychologist (if she sees him as a possible case of study).

I was with a psychology major for a year. They really know how to manipulate. They invest their life into studying human reactions, and they know how to cover up lies, and see through you. To top it all off, her roomate was a practising lawyer, and they fought like brother and sister, so she has learned how to argue, and control situations, and turn shyt around on you from years of living with this guy.
I could not ever win, it was crazy. She was like Hannibal Lecter, and My Cousin Vinnie rolled into an HB9! (bad examples, but true)

I've done psychology subjects at college, and have friends who majored in psych, and dated girls with psych degrees.

Let me tell you something: Having a psychology degree makes almost no difference in human interaction.

They may pretend to be experts on human interaction. You may believe them. But the fact is, they're not. Most psychology studies focus on mental disorders (ie. sociopathy, multiple personality, etc) and advanced research, No reputable college/university will have "Picking Up Chicks 101" as a psych subject.

Besides, nearly everything you learn in psychology about human interaction is common sense. It doesn't take a genius to realise most people have an innate desire to fit into the group, or that boredom is usually an internal rather than external cause.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Challenge is her kryptonite.

Keep being aloof and sincerely busy and that will give her enough to frustrate her further.

One important thing I wanted to say that others touched on was the games. If you stoop to her level playing into jealousy/control frames and such than you're lowering yourself to her level.

To remain alpha, call her out in a calm assertive manner that you don't appreciate the way she's trying to manipulate you or disrespect you. You'll earn a lot of power back in your court along with your self-respect. I'm there with you man, it's something I'm learning I have to do in my relationship to stay inter-dependent.

Women tend to have more dating knowledge then men since it's their playing field, but don't get discouraged because all of this is training your DJ instincts to think on your feet as you get older and you'll become wiser.

Always be prepared to walk away (because you know you can if you really wanted to).

They will analyze everything u do, yes, but they are just another human, if they do anyalize u they r more likely 2 understand u cos they understand human mind, trust me.
Psychology makes u a better person, i love it, am sure the girls will do the same.

Even if she is junior psychologist or a full-fledged professional, she is going to be putty in the hands of a real man. A real man won't give a fvck if she's analyzing him, he'll be out doing his own thing and she'll be his little sex toy.

If you're an insecure little AFC prancing around as an alpha male she'll see right through you and that will be that. But even she won't be able to overcome her emotions in the presence of a real MAN.

^^

My gut is telling me this is exactly the case. And usually my gut never lies.

We had another chat, and I think it went well. She's sticking to the "not ready" story and I'm going with it.

I'm missing something here, not ready for what?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Ahhhhh, so what is she doing? Nah, that doesn't really matter anyway. The question is whether or not you care. You can still get laid by a woman you aren't dating.

Good question. Being on a dating site and all.

I really want to not care. I'm talking to someone else besides her and really trying not to care.

What do you think?
Every woman is ready for "dating" - she just doesn't want to 'date' you!

Hehe, they will if I have something to say about it ;)

Seriously, there is a massive need for some well trained psychologists to work with people on their relationship issues, picking up, finding the RIGHT mate and not just getting what you can and settling for it. Therefore there is a need for research and education on the subject. There is some absolute gold in these forums and others that would make some Universities an absolute squillion if they formalised it and made it into a salable package.

It is barely tapped resource that I will be taking advantage of in the future
