"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Thanks for your responses, I'm going to go deeper into it when i have some more time and figure out what I have to do.

But I don't understand anymore. Today I was crossing her and before we crossed she said hi to my colleagues who were 5m from me in a group. She didn't even look at me or said hi, afterwards in the cantine I noticed her looking at me intensely (althoug I'm not 100% sure, maybe she was just dreaming in my direction). But still

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Honestly what do I have to do to get her out of my head or at least 'turn' her around. I see her talking to my colleagues and I get jealous and think why won't she talk to me?

You have to grow up.

You can expedite this process by getting as much experience with woman as possible. Or, just keep doing what you're doing and wait 10-20 years.

Your call.

I hope :). It's just that I currently have no time to go out and meet woman (hell I never did it actively in my life). Besides you haven't seen the ass on that thing...

But I feel that I'm wasting my 'good times' and hate especially the fact of all the missed opportunities because of the lack in my social skills.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

A small update on this situation. Of course in these months, nothing has changed, I still haven't talked to her because I'm too shy.

If you think that's pathetic, let me fill you in on the recent stuff:

I've had a stressful period at work where I was doubting if I was going to be fired. Today I got the result from my tests and they turned out very good, so I can stay. I never really knew if this girl had a boyfriend or not, I assumed it of course, but was not sure. Today I also heard that this is the case.

And now for the 1 million dollar question: what do you think what is most on my mind, the fact I can stay working at my dream job or the fact she is taken.

Jesus why do I keep putting myself in these situations, I know this is pathetic, that my work is number 1 priority. But still this girl, to which I haven't said a word to, to which I know I f*cked up overall because I 'know' her for half a year and didn't take any action, she still has this impact on my life to the fact that even with one of the best news I could get, still overshadows this fact...

The hardest part is that I know all this, that it's not right, but still I can't stop thinking about it...
