I had a girl that I met on a dating site and got her phone number. We swapped a few texts over the course of a week. Next thing I know we are sending snapchat video and I've got her doing naughty things. After that I texted her a few times and never heard from her again.

I'd lean on the side that this girl you are talking to just wants to swap some pics/video. Her saying she wants to swap pics so you two can get comfortable doesn't really make sense. When girls say things that don't make sense, they aren't telling the entire truth.

What you could do is start swapping pics, get her horny, then tell her that this would be so much more fun in person. I've gone this route before and it worked out very well. It took about 5hrs of back and forth texting, but I showed up at her apartment at midnight to fuhk her brains out. Never ever met her before that. The texting and pic swapping was just foreplay that opened the door for the real thing.
