"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hey lads.

I've been super busy with work, but I've been chatting with this cute girl in the City and unlike most broken, weird women I've met on OLD she seems genuinely fun, non-needy, physically attractive. A pleasant surprise!

I was gonna take a trip up to her next week but she's offered to get on the train and come to my city instead.

Obviously I'm not going to turn down a hot chick coming down to hang out with me, but it's also made me realise that I'm pretty crap at playing Tour Guide. Last few times I've done it, it's ended up being a stuffy meal in some restaurant which is way too formal for a first date.

I know a few amazing bars and I'm on the coast, so chilling at the beach is probably the best option. Maybe the three bar bounce?

Does a date have to be more "spectacular" if a chick's travelling a way for it? It certainly seems to add a bit of pressure.

At the very least I want to go for a full snog at the end of the night, to justify the inconvenient train journey etc. etc.

Anyway I know for a fact that guys on here play host to a girl in a new town quite a bit, so thought I'd hit you all up before I f*ck up another first date ;)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Awww man saw this too late.

Anyhow how did your 1st date go?

I'd normally bring out of town chicks to someplace that's quiet and secluded but has an amazing view; so it's either on the beach with a view of the city on the other end or a hilltop bar/restaurant with a view of the city. Women tend to dig places like this and it kinds of loosen them up for something further later that night.

It doesn't have to be expensive, far out of town bars/restaurants are relatively cheaper.
